I didnt know this song could be more painful when it actually happened to me. When my bf broke up without telling the reason, this is what's keep repeating in my mind. "You have no right to ask me how I feel. You have no right to speak to me so kind. " Well, he didnt talk to me again and asked how I was hahah
The first time I heard Tadao Hayashi's version of Wave, I immediately bought cassette tape Finger Trip II and its CD when it was released. Whenever I need to listen to smooth jazz I always play Finger Trip II with its beautiful renditions of Just The Way You Are, Double Play, As Time Goes By, A Song For You, etc.
I miss my Dad because of this song. Don McClean is 1 of my Dad's cassette tape collection while I was growing up. & I became a fan of Classic Rock & Folk Rock. ✌

I borrowed this album from a friend in the winter of 1977-78. I would listen to it in the deep silence of the night with all lights off. The room used to be filled with just Don McLean's voice... Just now listening to it thru headphones to have that nostlgic environment. Oh how miss those times, I was so young then. Don McLean was my top favorite in those days.
