I remember there used to be a series of activity books with some manga-like comics in those books here in Mexico. But I remember for sure it was in b/w and the fan art corner was inside of the covers in color.
Thank you for this analysis! As a kid i didn't noticed something wrong with the cover, and also i thought it looks cool in general. Now as an adult and illustrator, I can't believe that this cover is so cursed! Plus to the elements that you mention, i think that the art of the kids feels in general too amateur! the faces feel wrong and the shadowing feels off. It's hard to imagine how this could be aproved.
Man, I really wish those keys would just include said content without online requirement. Like a sort of dlc and the online connection should be used to unlock stuff you can already get earlier instead. Who wouldn't want new hats, tamagotchi, backgrounds, etc.. per key? In fact having crossovers using them would be amazing! No need to buy a new tamagochi for a crossover; just buy a key and get it all in one place (but you can buy the content pre-added with a unique tamagochi shell physically if you want. Like they're doing atm.); they'd get so much money from it and fans would love it!
saw one at the store for $40 (japan items shipping cost is pretty high in my country) and i was tempted cuz i like vocaloid... watched this video before i did and i didnt know character collaboration models are that limited compared to other tamagotchis so ty
Hands down Toei's worst anime since Sailor Moon Crystal. I can't fathom how anyone would even have given this tedious trainwreck the time of day it they didn't have the original show to draw from in order to subconsciously fill in all the substance for it. I've read bad fanfiction better written than this. The amount of times they milked the 'never give up' trope for freebie powerups bordered on self-parodic. It also effectively made me sick of both Taichi and Wargreymon from how much smoke got blown up their backsides.
I think I prefer the localization to Winr/Winner over Victor for a younger child characters name, also FanBeemon calling him Winnie makes it a Winnie the Pooh reference too since Pooh Bear loves his honey. Even sometimes going so far as to get it from the Bees themselves.
Digimon world data squad is fine but it falls victim to the "TV show the game" kind of thing where it's not terribly full of content and because it is a Digimon game there is a lot of grinding if you care about filling out the evolution trees. overall it's not a long game if you are just looking to steamroll through it it'll probably just take a few days and some of the dungeons are a bit obnoxious.
What’s the advantage of getting two and syncing them together? Like, what exciting stuff will we have access to if we do this? Is it worth paying the extra money to get a pair? Thanks :)
I have two questions! 1. Is the Tamagotchi Smart the same as Tamagotchi Uni? 2. What about Tamagotchi Connections? I was thinking of buying two of the re-releases and syncing them together but never had them as a kid.
1. No they're different. I've done videos on both as well as the differences. 2. I've gone over them in a recent video as much as I can since they haven't released yet. I'll be covering them in various videos once they release!
Just bought digimonstory cyber sleuth 1 the 2016 version next up is the 2018 version I'm new to digimon I only have seen a few episodes of the original series when I was a kid plan on watching the anime though lets see how that goes. Any recommendations on which one I should try next I have access to a switch, 3ds, ds, Xbox series x, ps5, PS3,PS2 plan on picking up a dslite to buy GBA games I have all of them the pokemon gba games just sitting around since my childhood ds broke
It's lasted me longer than the digimon colors 😅 mostly just cause Digimon vpets are extremely over priced for what they are. Uni not only has come down in price but connects to the internet so potential for endless content and now theres "DLCs". Digimon... literally the same as the old model but with color and twice the cost of the Uni as well as limited preorders that release too close together and oddly seem to cater to a scalper market. Long winded, yes Uni is still good imho.
Totally agree, even my 10 year old son was like, "oh so the new guy will be the reason why parrotmons egg appears." Then the movie did nothing with that at all
My fellow Tamagotchi anime fans! Will you help me get Bandai Namco to dub the rest of the Tamagotchi anime series so far from episode 27 to episode 271 aka episode 50 of Go-Go Tamagotchi in English? Help a fellow Tamagotchi fan out.
I just got this same tama, and I love your insight on the franchise and the game demo. I haven't taken mine out of the packaging yet, but will soon. I have most of the Nano collabs, and my favorite one so far is Pac Man. (Jan Griffiths).
Everything ive seen online says the DM20 'mons pewp more than any other device, but like. It's barely even once every two hours. Sometimes only once every three. Its really nice when you can get them both lined up so youre cleaning and feeding both at the same time. I just needed any pet to test with my Flipper Zero F-Com, but im happy with the DM20 as my choice. Its been super easy to mod with open patches for soldering nearly anything i need, good lines with multiple choices, a simple but significant battle system (as opposed to leveling but only single battles on others) and i can always just tab it and reload my data after i sleep: they dont grow at night anyway, so why not just preserve battery? For the price and roster the only other device I'd consider right now is the PenC.
It is more than other devices, but mainly because there are two on the screen at once, I tend to just run the one mon on a DM20 so it's much less poop.
Do you think it's worth getting a vital bracelet for the features as they are? I've thought about getting one because I like the fitness tie-in with Digimon and Kamen Rider, but I'm not sure how long it would be useable when if it's no longer supported.
I would recommend the BE over the original Vital Bracelet, but yeah, I would still recommend it for when it's not supported provided the price doesn't go crazy high.
I never had any kind of V-pet before the Vital Bracelet, so when I got mine I got hooked. Sadly, about a week after I got mine, the Digivice V was announced and I never got the updated versions. About a year later, the strap that came with it broke and I was too lazy to get a new one. Looking back, it saddens me to see the series end like this, it had so much untapped potential.
It was okay for what it is but as a digivice/vpet, "eh" is the best way to describe it. I had fun with mine but I never upgraded it for the updated version because I didn't feel like cancelling my current subscriptions on my phone so I can switch the AppStore to another country to download the new app.
i only ever knew digimon from the anime and video games, i knew the digivices existed but knew nothing about the v-pets, the bracelet got me into digimon v-pets, so I would say it was good.
I was curious if they would do something different with describing the card battles then going the comic route and going into card detail each ability and rule. Side note I'm a child of Punk and am absolutely into Impmon's new forms and the music themes with each one and attack. Looking forward to the next one
