To me, not only does this encapture Gwynn, but it also sounds very reminiscent of older PS1 titles as well. Makes me feel like I am playing the PS1 RPG version of this game. I'm digging it.
I find the when the beat ramps up in sound it gets a bit hard to hear the words. I'll admit I got some hearing damage from my job but still really good otherwise. When are ya gonna post again?
Was just thinking about you today! I'm working on new music now that'll be coming out hopefully soon. I was laid off of work so getting income for vocalist has been challenging. Should have a new song out by August though!
@MarcStraight ah shit, fair enough. Hopefully you don't stay unemployed tòo long given how long it takes to get a job these days. Good to gear you're still kicking though
I was just lazily watching RU-vid videos and just kind of bounced from OutsideXtra videos (Ellen's Fear Academy), to Ellen's own channel and then decided to try giving this song a listen and OH MY GOD!!! I literally cried. It is so beautiful! I have recently watched a lot of OutsideXbox/Xtra and I especially love the relatable goofiness and "down-to-earthness" of Luke and Ellen. I guess what I want to say is that I have really grown to love Ellens personality and she has become one of my dearest friends in an otherwise lonely and depressing period for me. And to hear my dear friend sing this beautifully in such an incredibly well made song... ...Well, it made me so happy and proud.
Ellen's voice gave me chills and brought me to tears. I hope you guys do more stuff together. It makes the heartache a little easier to bear when I can feel the emotion in someone's voice as they make music that just speaks to me. I'd only found out Ellen did music from the Dark Souls 3 VOD, but I am so thankful, and look forward to hearing your entire discography. Thank you, Marc, and thank you, Ellen, for making such beautiful art.
After discovering you on RU-vid while searching for dark fantasy music, I fell in love with your album Souls and Blood. Here I am today exploring the rest of your creations on your channel, I love your style, please continue. Without knowing why, this song plays on repeat in my headphones, thank you and Xanthe Hyunh.
I went through a really tough time this year. This song has been one that has genuinely helped me get through a lot of it. I'm glad Ellen promoted herself so I could hear this. Thanks for providing such a beautiful song that gave me a lot of strength.
@@icklenellieroseNever normally reply as I don't know if it'll be read - but my year has gone from awful to getting a job I love, and now having a partner who accepts and loves me for me. I still listen to this as I've got a lot of healing left - but I wanted you to know you helped and still do! 💟💟
Let's dance boys is one if the songs that can sound completely different depending on context. In the original game remix, it's a powerful, expolsive and cheerful melody the just makes you want to dance, hence the name. In this remix, it's a soothung, mysterious, almost a bit melancholy melody. It takes skill to flip such a song on it's head like this. Good job!
