Yes cultural issues he plays Americans people forget he's British they like to grieve privately so he doesn't want to exploit Heath out of respect for the family really though how many OD in the streets everyday people don't care except if it's a famous musician or movie star? I did like Public Enemies true stories are interesting imo.
Yes well if you know he has been working as a professional since he was 13 don't also try to treat him as a novice at 34 with 20 years experience. Tsk tsk Christian the era just doesn't appreciate dedicated thespians anymore.
@@johnny2hats144 he implied comprehension within his statement. Is your question posed for actual clarity or are you upset because you feel I've cast aspersions upon someone in Hollywood that you like? People in the entertainment industry like and make statements that they don't live by often so that they appear "deep" or "introspective" and that's fine because it's often expected. I like Ed Norton's work but, I'm 51 now and I've watched Annie Hall a few times over the last twenty-some odd years and it took some time and wisdom to gain a confident understanding of the film. I am kinda slow though, lol.
Ha ha, if you think he implied comprehension fine, I think he pays tribute to the film because it’s different to what he might have expected, the whole fragmented narrative, the breaking the fourth wall. It’s like a wake up call, you can make films like this. I don’t think anywhere he implies he understood the film. What does “understanding “ a film even mean? Your understanding of it will probably be very different to other people’s. As for Edward Norton, I have no real opinion of him, I haven’t seen enough of his work. His Woody Allen impression is great though. You have a good day now 👍
That wife/life line was such a non-sequitur. It's almost like she really flubbed the line and they played along including Woody looking into the camera.
@@waldosgrade - I'm definitely aware that it's part of that movie's motif. The other times were obviously intended and written. This one just seems so random and fleeting that it feels like he was playing at that moment. Besides, what's the meaning of Annie's Freudian slip of "life" and "wife"? It was a funny moment nevertheless.
@@KajolKhan-qj5ne I understand plot twists and red herrings and all that, but I was shocked at that end and SO sad. I was literally outloud saying NO! NO! NO! OMG NO!
