If you growing the fry koi inside will a grow light help with the growth and color of koi, some are growing a lot faster than others, 10 out of the 50 are 3-4in while the rest are 1 1/2. What could it be, any help is much appreciated as I’m trying to make a hobby and sell a few on the side to cut down feed costs.

Hi just built one myself if u look on tube and type in How To Make DIY Fish Pond Filter very easy and cheap/Crystal Clear Water If you watch this video gives u a better idea I got boxes from Halfords 600mm long 400mm wide 215mm deep About £8 each I used 32mm push fit instead of solvent weld only because I had a lot of it in the shed Hope this helps I am useless uploading videos If I could I could send u pictures I only know how to send on WhatsApp and emails Let me know how u got on Thanks
I am into D.I.Y. Filters. In my personal opinion, along with personal experience, they can be better and a lot cheaper than prefabricated Filters. The key is to think it through before you start constructing a filter, and sometimes you change things as you are building it, usually because of many ideas that come to mind. Thank you for posting this. NOTE, people, no long fin koi anywhere here. That's an American thing. My 'Shamoo' is now 22 years old in my pond. He boldly swims on top of the other fish at chow time. I feed pasta, rice, carrots, peas, cheerios, worms, (and quality koi food), they'll eat anything. He loves water melon. I absolutely love koi.
I rebuilt my pond about 15-20 years ago to prevent them from breeding. So many years later, they started breeding. I can see two baby koi now. Please tell me what you are feeding your babies. Thank you!
Im in vietnam on and off in the year. Im.basic to medium knoladge on koi. Id like so much in part hobby and buisness to be a koi finfer and go between breeders here and in Thailand etc. Would it sufice in fibding europe koi keepers

Hello, and thanks for posting this educational video. Would it be correct to assume that a hormonal injection administered at night is used to synchronize the female's spawning with the male's milt productivity? In other words, the hormonal injection can be regarded as the direct trigger for egg maturity, while the sedative used on the fish plays a lesser role in assuring eg maturity and release at dawn. Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Excellent Filtration, 23Celsius, Quality Food, Aeration.Heavy feeding and 1 Days Fasting produce good growth and body shape. Colour food will retain colour on Go Sanke variety but Whites will need conditioning with Wheatgerm. Silk worm pupae produces great skin quality and volume.
I really don't understand about"27 watts". How much watts uvc consume and what about the drum filter flushing pump and they spouse to have a air pump as well. 😳😳😳
The airlift runs on the 27 Watts, that is quite impressive for a large pond like this. Indeed yes, the filtration itself will take energy too, but that would be identically when using a pump instead of airlift.
I was expecting any update from a long time. But I have a question that in my pond several fishes have done Spanning a week ago. I was stop feeding them that they should eat the Eggs. Today I have found a lot of baby fishes swimming and I have fed them with the Egg yolk. But I don't know what to feed them afterwards or in couple of days how to manage it because I can't separate them...? Any response will be appreciated.5hnx
