Hey, I’ve finally found a UK RU-vidr that has iggys!! Where did you buy yours from?! I’m looking to get an iggy but want to get a pure breed from a reputable seller. Also, how was potty training your iggys and do they like cuddles?
They are gorgeous but i wouldn't let them sleep in collars especially in a cage the fatal accidents when leaving collars on happen sadly they can easily get caght on things and choke. I wouldnt ever want you to go through that or the babies ❤
I just lost mine, whom I never even meant to have, after 17.5 years of absolute unconditional love. I overheard an employee saying a dog at the local puppy shop wasn’t even selling after months of lowering her from $5000 to $4200 to $3000 to $1800 to $499 and finally $99 and so her puppy mill would be there at closing in two hours to pick her up. I asked the employee what that meant for her, they said it was a very sad fate as she would be taken back and kept perpetually pregnant and caged for the next seven years or so. I said, “I’ll take her then!” I wasn’t even looking for a dog. I freaked out after I signed my receipt, “omg, what kind of dog did I just buy!? A wha-..Italian what!? Italian greyhound!? What the heck is that!?” A minute later they brought her out and put her in my arms and I immediately was fond of her. But an hour or two later, I put her in her cage and went to bed but she just screamed and cried downstairs. So I told her firmly, “don’t you dare get used to this! You can sleep with me one night only! I mean it!” Little did I know that that was thee biggest crock I ever told anyone. After waking up with her after thee most heavenly and wonderful sleep ever, I looked in the nook of my arm and saw her little tiny body and little face fast asleep, taking a deep breath in and then exhaling with a blubba-lubba-lubba of her lips doing a vibrating snore with her head on my shoulder and I was immediately totally in love with her at that point and there wasn’t a night that we ever slept apart again. She was my favorite thing on the whole entire earth and everything I did was for her, whether it was at doggy summer camp, in one of probably ten other countries, post hook up when I broke the news, “sorry, but there’s only one girl I will ever love and sleep with, do you…do you mind!? ::unlocking door and motioning a polite go away please::” We were never apart. The day she died, I took her to bed one last time and put her how she loved to sleep and I think I stayed up three or four hours just bawling and snotting all over and choking on my tears till I finally passed out around sunrise. And at the cremator, I kept going back again and again to hug her one last time and make sure I remembered her face…since then I have never had peaceful sleep again, I simply can’t carry on, and I get so angry and hateful looking at Iggies just thinking, “yea, I know what you’re thinking! But you’re NOTHING compared to her. You’ll NEVER be anything like her!” Although I just know the puppies are thinking, “um, we don’t even know what things are! We’re just babies!” Poor things. But I can’t help it… I know it is a very bold prediction, however I stand by it. I don’t see how I could ever love anyone the way or as much as I loved her. I just can’t imagine anyone, human or animal, being anything near the absolute angel she was and if I am right about that, I won’t regret it at all. Like they say, you can’t really know love until you have loved a sight hound. And after never having any interest in them whatsoever and then spending 17 years of my life with one, I stand by it. You just can’t imagine what love is without knowing just how heavenly it is to love and be loved by a sight hound…or maybe I am wrong about that, maybe it is simply that you can’t know absolute unconditional love unless you knew my baby girl… 😭 It feels like my heart will never heal… I will never understand how people over and over by the thousands passed up, even for $99, this little girl who was the most lovable and perfect creature who ever lived. They can’t even imagine what they missed out on. An angel…

What kind of collars are those & also which brand harnesses?? Love your Iggy babies ❤ please reply - please let me know what you feed them also, my precious IG will be 1 year old in a few weeks and is very particular lol… but I would like to add some fat to her diet bc her hind rear bones are still showing 😢even though she eats and eats
Raise them together. Keep the puppy around the bunnies all the time and your dog won't hunt them. The Whippet will still hunt wild rabbits but will learn that pet rabbits are not for hunting. I did this with all of my animals and had no issues at all.
