Be careful when ordering parts. Force was terrible about following the parts manual. A '94 motor might have a '93 power head and possibly a '92 lower unit. When ordering parts, it can be hard to figure out exactly what you have and thus what to order. Best of luck with the repair.

Do you know how to fix the throttle mine feels like it stuck or something
@DougsMessyGarage
@DougsMessyGarage 12 дней назад
The throttle could be stuck in the control arm, there is a grease fitting that needs a shot every now and then and that could be the problem. Also could be the linkage between the arm and the carb. The throttle shaft on the carb could be gummed up. Or, the throttle ties into the ignition system up under the flywheel and something could be stiff there. Break out some penetrating oil and see if you can free something up. Best of luck.

@DougsMessyGarage
@DougsMessyGarage Месяц назад
Is the bogging and dying tied to the putting it in gear or is it that you run it for x amount of time before you put it in gear every time? If it is a time thing, then that is likely fuel system related, the carburetor probably needs cleaning. If the issue is indeed tied to the putting it into gear, then you likely have a failure in your lower unit/gear box. As I say in almost every outboard motor video, do not run the motor without submerging the lower unit in water, the water pump impellor is rubber and will be smoked in about 15 seconds without water to cool it.
