A familiar and popular name in the area, Prestons has firmly established itself, and is celebrating 100 years of trading, an accolade in itself to have weathered the years (Est. 1919), as one of the leading independent motor dealers located in the Chelmsford area.
Prestons is a family run business and prides itself on giving good service and value for money. Conveniently situated just outside Chelmsford off the A414, in the picturesque village of Writtle, Prestons has much to offer. Should a customer require servicing or repairs Prestons have a 'state of the art' aftersales facility, employing fully qualified technicians. We also have computerised MOT testing facilities located on site.
Prestons has seen many changes over the last 100 years and represented many franchises. We have been A Skoda dealer for over 20 years, both as a main dealer and latterly as a very reputable Aftersales Sales Dealer, which we remain to be, although in August 2019 we acquired the SsangYong franchise!
Lovely looking pick up, i do alot of camping and mountain biking so this would come in very handy, only weird thing is if it rains does the back cargo area fill up with water or can you buy a cover for the back , would love the Saracen model in green 💚👌👍🏴
What iPhone model are you using? I have a MY24 Rexton and it won’t recognise my iPhone 15 Pro - and it is not because of the cable. It does recognise and work with my old iPhone 8. One of the service reps told me the car came out before the iPhone 15 so we can’t blame the car. I call BS on that one, my 2017 Golf never misses a beat with the iPhone 15.
I have just bought a Torres , it has Andriod Drive and Apple Carplay so a software update must have taken place- but I have lot so issues with the software , needs more software updates as units wrong, fuel guage not reading anything , radio doesnt play unless I change requency etc
You are a God send. I realize my keyfob, if it gets cold, usually its working fine, until it doesn't. That is the time I knew that a battery change is imminent.
Hello please i have a question . You solved this issue? I dont have CarPlay buttons in menu on Rexton and I have problem with CarPlay . I can’t connect with anyone iPhone . I tryed much cables not working 😔
@@emresoykara9464. yes, I solved it. I downloaded the software from the ssangyong website and updated the radio. after the update, CarPlay connected without problems.
I'm confused .. As far as I was concerned (I'm in Australia) the new dash was to coincide with the the launch of the 'KHAN' (same truck) . ? along with the rebranding to KD Mobility .. Cheers
May be that is the plan for the Australian market but the UK market we have this and SsangYong GB and SsangYong Korea are still discussing the name change for the UK market. The last I heard was that in the UK the brand will be known as KGM but this won’t take place till 2024. But that’s only what I’ve heard on the grapevine
@@prestonsgaragesltd Cheers Mate .. I reckon they could be rethinking the rebounding here as sales have been doing very well in recent months..very well..
This is basically a slightly different Rhino - main difference is replacement of rear leaf springs with coils - it would be good to know what impact this has had on both ride and capacity.
Your reviewers sound is being drowned by the traffic noise. I admit I have a hearing problem but he is difficult to hear. Other reviews have sound that I can hear. Inside the vehicle it is clearer.
Hi, I've got a 2023 musso yesterday in Australia, but it cannot display the map on the dash board, it not even has the flag icon that represent the navigation on the dashboard, is there any possibility to Enable the system to support this feature? thank you!
@@thepikeangler2022 So far I'm liking it well enough, and no problems to date. Mine's a 2018 model. It's a bit of a mixed bag but some of the things I don't like are moreso because of the type of driving I do. Positives: Love the interior which is what drew me to it in the first place. Comfortable, lots of extras for your money e.g. reversing camera and heated seats. Great for motorway driving and gets 50+mpg there (but unfortunately I don't do a huge amount of motorway driving!). Spacious boot. Handles nicely. Negatives: I do a lot of driving on hilly rural roads mixed with driving into the city for work. It's bigger than I personally need as a single person, and barely scrapes 40mpg average with all the stop start hill driving I have to do, though that's not horrendous (my last car was a 4x4 Panda so fared much better!). The gears annoy me a bit - say you're doing 30mph 3rd is too low but 4th makes it unhappy unless going downhill. Cruising along in a 50mph zone it can't decide if it wants to be in 4th or 5th, my Panda happily jumped to 5th from 45mph upwards. I stalled it a few times when I first got it as it likes to stay in 1st gear longer than most Diesel cars and vans I've driven 😂 I intend to keep it for a couple of years then will decide whether to get something a bit smaller again. Would I personally get another Tivoli? Probably not as it's not perfectly suited to my driving/solo needs. Would I get another Ssangyong if they did a smaller 4x4? So far, yes, but time will tell on reliability!
