It's a beautiful scene and makes me cry every time I watch it. When my lovely Daddy was still with us I cried and now he has died 24 years ago I still cry. Memories and love never die. I was very lucky to have such a wonderful father 😂❤❤❤❤

I live around Penge different address's right up to late teens, hard to get bearings down Marple Road at first then when you hit Croydon Road it clicked in, bought my first records at Art Nashs corner Evelina Road, there used to be a church betweeb Franklin Road and Evelina, bought my firdt car at the Ancaster Garage in Croydon Road. God it seems so long ago
I was brought up in Croydon Road, Penge in the 50's and 60's. I remeber there used to be a market in Maple road leading down to the high street. It all looks so different...a lot of boarding up of the frontage of shops. Quite depressing|
Yes. That was Jesus Himself, He often spoke that way in the Bible, with total authority and faith “fear not, only believe” and it’s just like how when He was being arrested - they came for Him, they had Him … He told the guards to let the others (His apostles) go; then He was led off to extreme torture and mocking and crucifixion for our sins. Only He has LIFE in Himself, life-giving power. Only HE heals. Angels deliver messages and fight battles. I surely hope this man and his family turned to Jesus Christ and the Bible with all their hearts. It’s a GLORIOUS testimony.
My late Father "Loved" Matt Monro and we even chose one of his songs "Softly When I leave you" for his Funeral. My Father was always singing his songs, and a waitress once came up to my Father and said "Excuse me Sir, are you Matt Monro" that was my late Father's best compliment, because he was a "Big Fan" of his. I have been playing a cd of Matt's Hits to my severley disabled Mother, who is in a Nursing Home now, and it seems to really sooth her. I Never Tire of listening to his smooth voice. I can see now, why my late Father liked him so much. r.i.p Matt (Sadly Missed)
When I was kid I was knocked over by car. I was in a coma for more than a week. But I recall when I laid on toad I became conscious for few seconds n I heard a voice saying move ur head. An oncoming car was about to run over my head! many years later in my adulthood, Dec 2019 I met the angel face-to-face who warned me my life was In danger where I lived. I immediately moved out n averted the hit on me. I didn't see wings but he was white as snow, humble but powerful. His voice was genderless. I wrote an online book at Amazon bout it. I

I have been fascinated with Truro Cathedral most of my adult life, and now I am and will most likely never see it in this world. It is magnificent, a jewel box in its scaled down proportions and restraint. I see Salisbury…but far more intimate and cozy. The reardos is similar to the Nation Cathedral of Sts Peter & Paul on Mount Saint Alban at Washington. The vestibule doors and framework looks temporary and a much finer one is needed. Other than that, it is a most intimate and warm setting to behold. Weather new or old, it is rightly so builded of ancient rock and consecrated to be a timeless continuation of Christ promises which surpasseth all understanding. It’s a prayer in stone, but is also an human stalagmite formed and shaped on the Though…on a glimpse of Heaven.
It was fascinating to find out about the place, in which I grew up in, ( White City Estate) was truly a beautifully designed set of buildings. And so difficult to imagine, what was, to know what is now.....Amazing History!!
