I got half At wine and dine, Marathon at marathon weekend , half at princess and 10k in spring time. I’m only good for one race per weekend 😂Have a good weekend at Disneyland and Hawaii
I have no idea how I missed this video’s release but after medal Monday I am so excited for dopey this January! Hoping for good weather and that Riverside is a good resort for such a busy weekend
Thanks for the info guys, I would like to know your opinion about the Art of Animation hotel... Right now I"m thinking about separate the dates for my race in January, thanks.
We've done a few race weekends from art including last springtime! We've had good experiences there and enjoy the resort for race weekends. Lots of good food options with the skyline access.
I appreciate you making all the Disney running content. I've been watching lots of your race archives. I'm doing the Disneyland Half next year for my first runDisney event, really looking forward to it. I notice you seem to like running in Rabbit gear. They're my absolute favorite company. Are you a RAD Rabbit?
Hey Lake bad July for me as well had to stop running for couple weeks for some back issues but back at it now. Thanks for updating see ya at wine and dine
We were on the road during the live broadcast. Training is going well here. I am doing my first full marathon locally two weeks before W&D. Combined over two weeks will be my “budget Dopey.” Wine&Dope?
I've done a few Rock n Roll races (Nashville & Savannah) and didn't like them. Oh my gosh, I was just out in Duluth last week and said I want to do Grandma's next year!
Well first off we have to start with speak to a Dr or a specialist! But when I had issues with this a few years ago, my main issue ended up being bad work shoes. I was wearing good running shoes but spending 8+ hours a day in cheap ones. Idk that I have any tips pitside of the general, change up or try some new shoes, or get fitted for inserts. Definitely check with your local running store and see what they say.
I’m registered for Dopey 2025, but struggle sometimes with pain in my knee. This is mostly controlled with physio but I also had COVID in week 2 of my training and lost most of 3 of 4 weeks in training. Would you recommend trying to get in extra miles/time to make up for lost training or just let it go and pick up on the current scheduled week?
@Cherylsquiltycorner just try and pick up where you need to be, or adjust to somewhere in the middle. If you're going to have issues, earlier is way better and gives you a lot of time to get back into it.
Today was registration for Princess 2025 (for CrD), and I'm wearing my 2023 Princess Half shirt, so of course I had to watch the 2024 Pincess Half for my treadmill run today! 3 years of Princess in ine day!
@@MouseGen I'm actually not doing Princess next year, lol just celebrating the day! And cheering in everyone else doing Princess! It's hard to get to FL from OR for all the WDW races, but I currently have DL Halloween (all races) and Goofy on my calendar! 😁
Yay!!! I know you've been busy but I like to think you waited to post the 10 miler to get us through the off season and the beginning of marathon training haha
I hope you all got to see the characters and the live entertainment shows onboard and interacted with Crush the Sea turtle at the animator’s pallet and maybe if checked out the bingo night activities too.
I ran this race - my first ever in-person race (so first RunDisney experience too). It’s kind of amusing to see that you finished before I think my wave left the starting gate! Thanks for helping me relive the memories!
I’m registered for Dopey next year, I am over 40 and would like to do one marathon before my knees completely eliminate that choice. I hope to follow the Jeff Galloway plan but I think I will probably reduce the longest runs a little as I go to a maximum of 20-22 miles. I’m sure that if I can follow the plan to even 70% I’ll have done enough for my body to complete Dopey comfortably.
Good luck and thanks for watching! Following the best we can is the best we can do! Hitting the important runs and staying consistent is what matters. Missing some here and there is just life! Happy training!
We have our first cruise planned to Alaska this summer. Leery about planning any excursions due to cost, and being rushed. Did y'all do any NCL excursions? I checked on going on our own and everything is so much cheaper but you have to worry about timing. 🤦🏼♀️ Just don't know what to do!
We did ncl excursions in Juneau, Stika. Ketchikan and icy we just walked around the towns/areas. My sister did a float plane tour in Ketchikan that she booked on the spot. Most of those 3rd party tour companies are catering to the cruise industry and know they need to have you back though. Having a review saying you missed the ship would not look good on them.
My wife and I are going on the same itinerary on the Bliss. Could you post a link or tell me how to book the excursion to the glaciers and drop off directly to the ship?
www.ncl.com/shore-excursions/JNU_15/Endicott-Arm-Glacier-Explorer Here is the excursion. You may need to log into your cruise and go to itinerary, book excursion(or something close), and it is the Endicott arm glacier Explorer excursion
Hi there, thanks so much for watching! These are located on deck 8. However I honestly wouldn't recommend them for an Alaskan cruise. The wind was often very heavy and knocked the furniture around.
