Music from around the world. Some old radio shows from before TV & some shortly after TV became popular. And me trying to introduce you to something new.
Moonah are a band from the surf coast of Victoria Australia. This song is from their first album also called tears of the moon. in the year 2000 Tears of the moon, is an masterfully created psychedelic instrumental album with, surf, jazz, and folk influences. This uniquely Australian album has everything. Trippy guitar riffs, haunting didgeridoo melodies, . traditional sea shanties and uses a marvelous variety pf instruments, guitars, Didgeridoo, Tibetan singing bowls, tin whistles, drums, bells, djembe, vibroslap, clapsticks to name a few. Moonah is a rarity in the live music scene with no focal leader;. they write and perform as a collective. Their memorable and evocative live performances showcase original instrumental songs that meld both traditional and experimental musical forms. Each album is startlingly unique from the others, reflecting the band’s desire to constantly evolve and explore new sounds. Moonah is: Rod Cosier: Drums, Djembe, Chimes, Bells and Vibroslap Mark Trinham: Acoustic guitar (lead), Didgeridoo and clap sticks. Tom Gittings: Base guitar and clap sticks Andrew Taylor: Tin whistle, Acoustic Guitar, Button Accordion, Thai Wind Instrument and Tibetan Singing Bowl Guest Appearance Gordon Stammer: Djembe.
This is one of their more straightforward tunes. The style is mathcore and it's all about the shifting time signatures, which are heavily Stravinsky inspired. As a lifelong prighead, Ni are an all-time favorite band of mine and maybe the most rhythmically complex band of its sonic type.

Hatfield and the North's first album has a massive number of tracks and they all flow into each other. The track names are just themed chunks to give you a handle on where you are in the whole thing. Live, these chunks could be played in a totally different order each time, with impro links.
My favourite band, had the pleasure of seeing them live more than any other band and was a support act on 2 occasions, absolute top Gentleman in person. Tim was a genius, melding so many genres to create such an original sound that will never occur again! RIP You Amazing Mad Bugger!!
I saw them back in the 90's. There was an amazing amount of weed smoked at that concert. Damn, it was fun. It's not serious music done by some serious musicians.
Cem is a well-educated artist. He has a strong and unique voice.Your reaction to Cem is unserious and ignorant.I watched a lot of reactions to this video and your reaction is the worst, sorry👎
Bela called Howard the Man With Two Brains. I'm lucky enough to live in Louisville, Ky. It was home base for New Grass for a bunch of years. And I caught the warm-up performance by Bela and the brothers in a small bar. Howard was still on the road hauling the equipment. The night before their first major public performance at Lonesome Pine Specials. (shows available on RU-vid.)
Michael Jackson did indeed get the Eeeh Eeeh Eeehs from Stevie Wonder ! The late great Joe Simon is my Godfather, we miss him a lot, I talk to his widow at least once a month . I refer to Joe Simon as the Bishop, since he turned to religion years ago . Btw , my hero and idol is Stevie Wonder aka. THE God of ALL Music. !!!
@@JohnCregoWorldMusic I agree and can’t really see a problem. They might’ve been worried about the size weight & possible tightness. Only meant to be short term anyway. Plus none of these solutions are perfect either.
I have and I think they are quite good. I did a few videos with them so you should be able to find them if you search around a bit. Thanks for stopping by and watching.
