Please do more videos and show more of the individual Magnolias for us who can not as easily visit (living in Denmark). Especially the special trees that that a not often found in nurseries would be really interesting and see how they differ.

Top quality content. Greatly appreciated. Happy to have a couple of Magnolias in the garden. One even self planted seedling received as a gift.

Do giant leaf rhododendrons need to be in full sun or can they grow in deciduous woodland.
@nationalbotanicgardens
@nationalbotanicgardens Год назад
Thank you for your question. Preference is dappled sunlight, on the edge of a glade or near an old oak, but not in deep shade. The critical factor with big leaved rhododendrons is protection from wind.

Every season has its charms in the gardens, but the bee border in summer is one of the most delightful.

The Sculpture in Context is an annual event I would never miss and I have seen many wonderful works in this beautiful context.

I would gladly have traded some Powerpoint skills for some rhodi knowledge and you were so close to pressing the right icon :-)

Thanks. It would be even lovelier if there was a version where the plant names appeared somewhere on screen as the plants are shown and also if you allowed each shot more time.

44:10 - 10,000 displayed specimens of the 2,000,000 total means <1% was the correct poll answer (0.5%).

You are correct, thank you. A typo was made when producing the poll (poll not shown in this recording).

I watched this earlier, in two parts. Amazing to see this meticulous work going on and being discussed as you went. I appreciate the experience, passion, commitment of the two presenters. THANK YOU for what you do. There is a tremendous grounding in keeping pieces of history intact. One thing that I noticed as you were moving the pieces were that the other critters in the museum seemed to be watching you as you worked.

Enjoyed this talk. Thank you. Did find it difficult to follow along unfortunately as was home schooling also... and there were 4 flowers on the screen at a time, and I didn't know what flower was being talked about for a few minutes. Would love to have had this with one flower per slide. Again Thank you.
