Truly wish they wouldn't allow drunk boaters at the point. The Plovers lay their eggs there. We have seen unattended kids bothering them beyond the ropes. Sad people can't be responsible with nature. They also blast their loud rock music. Scares the animals. I love loud music, I party and rock out. But! Not when I am in nature trying to unwind from noise, in a place that is supposed to be shared! And protected...by every single individual. People need to respect nature. And keep these wonderful secret spots to ourselves, the Florida tax paying and hard working residents. Not peddling real estate for personal gain. Not boat renters that have no clue. Need more water police protecting the birds that can't stand up to drunk wakjobs. All said imho. Sorry, not sorry. It used to be so tranquil til 2020 internet surfers and real estate agents. I know I have my license 8 yrs now believe me the most of them do not care or understand Florida's unique prescious environment... and its sensitivities we need to protect. Don't get me started on the drunk litering fishermen....who tangle fishing lines all in the mangroves, cut the lines and can choke a pelican and or their young. Very sad sight. Over building wellen park circle jerk. Florida needs to think!!! No more aftersunset deals! About our future and your grandkids futures! Imho sorry for soapbox.😂❤

Coming from Jersey I was shocked the first time I went to Caspersen....Beach parking?....FREE Beach access?....FREE. NO such thing as a beach badge. Clean soft white sand and crystal clear blue water. What's not to love?

Thanks for your bike trail videos & for all of the facts & other things that you talk about during your videos. We will be moving to Orlando after retiring next summer & will be looking for a place close to Disney where we would not have to cross I-4 to get there. I wish we could move to Golden Oak, but we don't have the $ for that. We are thinking about Celebration, Dr. Phillips, Winter Park, Clermont or Kissimmee. I look forward after moving there to riding on all of the awesome bike trails like the West Orange & the Courtney Campbell Causeway. If you have any ideas on where I should look for a place or people I should contact then please don't hesitate to let me know. I can't wait to get out of the hell of IL. because the government sucks, the taxes are too high, the weather is not good & it is very boring. Florida is the opposite of all of those things.
Do you know if this community allows homeowners to fence in the yard (physical fence, not invisible)? Is there a pet limit? I have 3 Labradors that are going to need to move with me. ☺️

Bonita Springs and Bonita Beach Florida is my favorite area of all Southwest Florida. Great secluded beach access areas are numbered. Great shelling, beachcombing, walking, swimming, sunbathing. Great seafood restaurants East of the beach, shopping in Estero to the North or Naples to the South. Hotels are East off the Beach though. However you can rent a home directly overlooking Bonita Beach. A little pricey but so worth the privacy. Like living in Florida with your own backyard beach. Paradise all your own!
Manasota Beach south of Venice is the best secluded beach to visit in Southwest Florida. Swimming, beachcombing, shelling, hiking, sunbathing with no huge crowds. This the beach for local living Floridians in South Sarasota County. Lifeguard Station is right near the free parking lot. Old Florida unspoiled beach on the Gulf of Mexico with white sand but shells mixed in with each high and low tide. Paradise for shell collectors too. Clear safe water to swim in.
Hi Kim! As a dog (and labrador) lover, we totally get it! Every community is different. Many of the communities in Wellen Park allow small fences for pets, but not all of them. As far as number of pets and size of pets, that varies and will depend on the HOA rules. Shhh don't tell everyone LOL. This is where we go on our boat nearly every weekend. We anchor on the intercoastal side in Ski-Alley and walk to the gulf side and have our own private beach

Sadly light rail is not a viable option in Florida where everything is so car dependent. Unless your destination is very close to the line you will need some form of public transportation and Florida is awful on that. At least they didn't replace the train tracks with a road like in my area (Naples)
I have wonderful memories of Sharky's from the early to mid 90s when my grandparents lived in North Port.. it is quite the experience with awesome videos and good food.
