I feel like people are hating on kid just because other people are. They are just jumping on the bandwagon. I guess it's human nature to follow the masses That's not me, I love kid. The only other character that I like more than him is Blackbeard.
Law is important Kid is just there. I’d rather he stay dead. Not cause he was wasted potential but because he is scum and an eyesore. And while it may have been impressive that Kis got so far with pure brute force and destruction powers, he lack anything else. It’s a conflicted statement. Your match ups do make sense, but as you mentioned I am not sure how much does the Navy can afford to send 2admirals vs their enemy( putting bounties on their colleagues is indeed serious but still) Given how Greenbull is the Kizaru2.0 or quick response I expect to see him in Elbaf. Although if he start smoking Cigars it would fit with Smoker fighting the man behind the production of Baroque Tabacco.Marines need to shine even if it is in losing.I mean Fuji vs Mihawk will do both of them good to showcasing their strength all the while Smoker will show he can actually fight a Warlord/Commander lvl oppoment( at no point before timeskip he could do something to Croc, neither Arabasta, nor Marineford)but know we could see his strength to match his Rank. And maybe a young Helmelo like rookie marine ( blade user) vs Mr1 to show that their trying.Def not Bogard thats overkill. Even crazier would be if Usop became giant. He is obsesed with them since Alabasta arc. Also there were so many talks about research how to create giants from regular people.

The reality is kids abilities only seem “lackluster” because he was facing some of the most durable characters in the series. ATP he doesn’t need to change his fighting style. He just needs conq coating so his attacks pack waaaay more of a punch.

Similarities and Parallels between Smoker & Crocodile: - Both smoke - Both have Logia devil fruits - Both were somewhat influenced by Luffy (Mihawk says in Marineford that Luffy has the ability to bring people together) - Both like to do things their way - Both helped Luffy at one point Conclusion: I think that Smoker is the marine version of Crocodile and Crocodile is the pirate version of Smoker.
I’m one of the few people who has always believed that Kid is straight up dead here. While I wouldn’t be surprised if he survives, I’m 95% sure he was totally finished off, and frankly I think it’s a fitting end for the Supernova who was famous for constantly picking unnecessary fights to meet his end against the Emperor who only fights when it’s needed.
Ur not one of the few. The majority of the fanbase thought kid was dead for sure. Only recently r people saying he’s still alive. As for this being a fitting end for kid I disagree. They made him a conq user out of nowhere in wano and yet he never used it. That alone tells us there’s more in store for kid.
I'm feeling like the Straw Hat crew, Kidd, and Law will get major character buffs in Elbaf. Luffy, Kidd & Law would be sparring with Shanks to strengthen their Haki. For plot purposes too, these 3 were prolly kids who Shanks made impressions on and they "coincidentally" all are in one location. We know how significant groups of 3's are in One Piece and can't wait to see the journey Oda has in store for them!
Only problem with this theory is that shake was leaving elbaf when kid showed up. Hes long gone by now and is portrayed to be looking for blackbeard. Shanks likely won’t be a factor on elbaf.
Tulips🌷appear to die at the end of the summer, but they grow back in the spring. Oda may have been hinting that although Kidd appears to be dead, he will be back.🤔 Something to think about.
