Hi, my name is Stan and I'm just trying to create things.

I’ve not been paying attention and just now (August 2024) realized my songs were all taken down. I haven’t published any songs in years. Now I’m trying to get them back up, but I’m wondering if I will lose all my play counts on Spotify. It’s a hobby, but one of my songs got on a few playlists. If I re-release it, it will not be in those playlists anymore.
@@CocoBark It’s not too late to save your data and preserve Stream plays numbers. Log into Songtradr dashboard, then go to Distribution and find Tracks or Albums you want to preserve. There will be UPC code for Album/Release and also individual ISRC numbers for tracks. Save all that info. When you will migrate to another distributor, you will be able to put these Individual Codes that are specific for your own music, and Spotify and Apple Music will then treat those tracks as the same and will keep the same play count. You just need to make sure all the rest of the data is identical too, from the names of the tracks, to its length, etc etc. At least, that’s how it should work. Check out some Spotify FAQ just in case, but that’s the process you wanna follow.
No problems :) I’ve actually made a video based on your question, you can check it out in case you might need that info later. “How to switch music distributors without losing stream counts or play numbers ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jewz6KGo1Js.html“
Just FYI guys, in case some of you don’t see your comments - it’s not me, it’s RU-vid’s fault. I have zero restrictions, no blocked words, no moderation or anything of that nature turned on here✌🏻
Great scene. Sadly in a movie about historical events this as many other scenes in there movie were entirely fictional. NASA was fully integrated at this time. There were no "colored" or white bathrooms. edit: To be clear I fully understand racism, bigotry, and jim crow were rampant during this period of time. These women were amazing to be able to succeed in spite of all of that. This movie is inspirational. Just they didn't have segregated bathrooms at NASA during this time.
While true that they didn’t have segregated bathrooms at the time depicted in the movie, they did have them around 10-15 years prior. But it’s a movie and there’re quite a lot of “creative liberties” :) Still a good film, imo
The most unbelievable thing about this movie is that there isn't a single ashtray or cigarette in sight. NASA employees smoked like chimneys in the 1960s.
Cmon guys, it’s a lil corny, sure, but it fits the scene and character overall. And it fits NASA as we know it now as an agency for just bright minds, no matter the background or color or even the place of origin.
Haha hunny that 12 weeks for the USA is an unpaid maximum and not all states or business do that or are required. Mine is 4 weeks unpaid and not even a requirement for them since we are less than 50 employees. It's ridiculous
That’s legit sad, pathetic, and straight up unethical! Especially since we’re talking not about some obscure failed state in the middle of who-knows-where, but about one of the largest and richest countries on Earth 😤🤬🥺
I think in Final Cut, but you can do it in pretty much any editing software, Like DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere etc. I think I downloaded PDF of the script, probably exported it as PNG to animate, because it either needed a plugin to animate PDF in FC and/or it was sloppy even with a plugin, so PNG worked better, and then combined visuals with the screenplay part. Hope it helps✌🏻
Excellent point. Maybe the, how shall I call it, "colorful" language near the end is why this is supressed by the algorithm. Absolutely ridiculous that writers even have to ask for this. And this shows at a deeper level the problems of how copyright functions right now. It's not even that copyright is too broad, in fact exactly the broad nature of it would allow authors to deny use of their work for training AI. The problem is that in practice it's not the creative minds themselves but major companies that end op controlling and owning the copyrights
@@ThRoWBaCkTeXaSNo offense, but I’m not tying you to the chair Clockwork Orange style. If it’s not good enough for you, sir, madam, or whoever you are - RU-vid is a big place, feel free to watch these videos some place else.

I do not have to see a new tv show or film until after the writers and actors and everyone else that works on movies gets a fair deal. Damn tired of the rich exploiting the workers to get even richer while the workers starve or are homeless. Forget that. This time the workers should get a fair deal or they can strike until the CEO's of all the relevant corporations get fired for losing so many billions for their greed and stupidity. Without the talent, the creativity and the passion of these people, the CEO's and their 'shareholders' would make zero revenue. Let us, the consumers of the workers passion and creativity remind the rich that we don't need them, they need us so give the workers a fair wage and decent benefits, it will cost them very little. Do not and see how life looks in the unemployment line.
@@Thoxom it’s a movie, not sure if you understand: it’s not a documentary. So yeah, maybe it didn’t happen, maybe it did; I don’t know and I don’t care! The emotional weight is there one thousand percent! Especially combined with the next scenes!

not sure if you'll see this but i have a question! i saw that you've made videos that have a scrolling script and the clip from the movie playing above it. how did you edit that? i've been trying to do it with my own script/scene for a school project but the scrolling text feature on premiere pro confuses the shit out of me.
The easiest way I’ve found how to do it in FCPX and Resolve (which will be similar in Premiere, I’m sure) is to put your video clip on top, then export/save necessary script pages as JPG or PNG image files, and then simply animate their positions with starting and ending key frames, essentially scrolling that image underneath your video layer. Not too elegant, but definitely works absolutely fine. I hope it helps 🫶🏻
And the easiest way how to cut out a short scene from a long movie without wasting a ton of time for re-encoding anything is to use a simple free program called “Avidemux”, where you can set in and out points and then extract a small clip from a full movie very quickly. Just need to test exporting formats and make sure you find the ones that work correctly in your editing software of choice.
