Welcome to my RU-vid channel! My name is Cierra Hill and I'm a multi-instrumentalist from the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I teach private lessons and play live shows with a variety of bands, but in my free time, I like to write my own arrangements of songs that I like from a variety of places! I especially love to arrange video game and film soundtracks. I am also a part of a video game rock band (where I play my electric violin) called Do a Barrel Roll! You can find some music from us in my playlists. Enjoy the music and check back for at least one new video every month!
Thank you!! This is one of my favorite FFX songs and it was so fun to put together. Tom helped me out and rocked this one on guitar! We like how it turned out too!
This has always been my favorite piece of music from Castlevania. As such, I was falling down a cover rabbit hole, and climbing over mountains of metal covers that just didn't feel right. Then I came across this. This is perfection. This is the way the piece was meant to be played. Bravo, and thank you.
Thanks! I was actually surprised at how well it worked as well, but I knew I wanted to do it! It was fun to try out different parts in different places and figure out what worked and what didn't. That's one of the fun parts of arranging!
Absolutely beautiful. I tear up every time that I've listened. Far horizons is one of my favorite songs from Skyrim ost. This is my go to song when I have to calm down if I'm going through something
Awww, thank you so much for your kind words! Far Horizons is also one of my favorites from the OST and it is really calming. I'm glad it helps you when you need it!
One of my favorites city themes of xy. I used to spend some time at Snowbelle just to hear its soundtrack. I find it beautiful and sad at the same time. I love your version, you did an amazing job
This is beautiful ❤- you're an amazing artist. Edit: Just saw I'd already commented a while back 😅, happy to repeat the praise, though. Truly epic cover, that guitar solo & rhythm section is incredible. Thank you, guys, for uploading.
Awww! Thank you for the extra love! And yes, Tom totally rocked the guitar stuff on this one! I just love how it turned out and I'm glad you like it too!
Great job on this arrangement 👌One of Uematsu's finest works I reckon. I am currently learning a really nice classical guitar arrangement of this song by John Oeth, just now! His arrangement is definitely worth a watch for anyone who loves or appreciates this song as well 🙂
