listening to your other stuff, your showing good technical improvement, for the 2 hours you said this took, you did better than songs you had alot longer on.
Sounds absolutely lovely, though not quite breakcore. Breakcore is a mix of 3 primary genres: Jungle, Hardcore, and IDM. These 3 genres can be combined with varying intensity to create songs that are either more intense than svdden death, or as chill as boygenius, and anywhere in between and beyond. If you really want to make breakcore I'm sure you'll do great, just gotta make sure it's actually breakcore, but either way whatever you make next will almost certainly sound great. (And don't forget that you can bring other genres into the mix if you want to as well, that's how genres innovate and grow!)
ive never been to into actuall genre definitions. to me, "breakcore" has always been: piano/strings (or other pads) and very agressive amen break... / sewerslvt, hkmori, certain cameliia songs, DMdokuro, and hakita (ultra kill) are people that come to mind when i think of breakcore. and this seems to somewhat fit the genre, while being a little more chill, like an extended part of the quiet parts of "goodbye" by sewerslvt. what genre would you say this song is, /what would it need to be proper breakcore, as im not enough of a nerd to know what the difference between any of those 3 genres you mentioned is.
@@apr1l-424 To me, this song just sounds like Jungle, though I'm sure if you did research you'd be able to better define and identify those 3 main genres, as most of my information comes from time spent around other breakcore and "breakcore" fans rather than actual research on the genre. Funny thing is, most of those artists you listed don't actually make breakcore, especially the one that made ultrakill. My personal favorite artists that make breakcore, and the ones that I think are a great example of what real breakcore sounds like are: ghost ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-waaV6gkWsoU.htmlsi=gHZ1VHgkr28L4bT1 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XzHKGzlkMhI.htmlsi=WaCIS8QJBcf7t32y and Enduser ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T-ljrrrSbnQ.htmlsi=pwlCb44rX-gHpFUe
The reason i have them a little louder is that the drums *are* the 'suicidal ideation' a very overwhelming feeling that drowns out the happiness that may normally occur.
i love it it's so good!!!! (small note i think the amen part should come earlier because it gets too peaceful and i was waiting and waiting for the drums, it's your decition tho i still love the song <3)
yea i just finished a version with more focus on the drums. should be comming out in the next 10-15 minutes unless i explode or a tornado shows up or something
THANK YOU! to me, there is no bigger compliment that "it sounds like minecraft" as it turns out, a lowpass filter, and alot of reverb gets you 90% of the way there...
would anyone be interested in making me one of those classic "Credits song remix" thumbnails? im poor so you'd be doing it for free but it would be awesome!
@@sasakuropyonthank you for the offer! just the standard "credits song for my death" type thumbnail, the low quality stick man with the black lines every where. just search youtube for "credits song for my death" and you'll get a bunch of examples. you can be as artistic as you want with it, if there's a certain way my song makes you feel compared to the original feel free to express that! my discord is "apr1l_81.gull"
@@apr1l-424 Oh alr, I'll try and make smth when I'm free and send ya the pic. U can tell me what to improve or stuff u want me to put in. Tho no guarantees i'll actually finish the drawing TwT. I've sent ya a friend req btw
I can see this exact scene and exact song being used in a funny horror rpgmaker game where you fight rats in the ruins of a bar. And then when you beat the game you realize one rat had ran away. And it smiles, as it runs to another bar. And the story repeats itself, never stopping until the world ends. Eventually an entire organization is formed to put an end to the rats, but they always fail as another bar falls victim. And then, as the humanity is about to die out, the rat watches as the last bar burns to the ground. and instead of smiling, it pouts. As no new bars were built.
