yo G you seem experienced with Hondas 🔥 i got a 2025 sport civic is it worth tuning ? it’s zippy and i feel as though possible Honda lied about the 150 hp . The fuel mpg is ass it burns gas like a v6 . Or should I keep it stock with no mods .
ive got a non SS HHR i got just as an emergency replacement daily driver for 1300 and 5 speed. runs like a dream at 200k+ its hilarious making the tires spin on takeoffs in this thing. weirdly love it. maybe cuz its my first manual as well. wish it was SS
Had a bad fuel pump relay in my civic they hard mounted them to the car and after time vibration and bumps can break the solder joints on the inside I took mine out resoldered and never had the problem again
40k ish stock. a guy near me had 2 stock and each was around 40k. he had another with a turbo and body kit and wanted 80k. anything more and ur talking over 100k lol
Most the ones you will find for sale go for 80k about because it’s hard to find stock ones at this point. If you look for a good deal people get rid of them as low as 30-40k though
I was going to do that with my GS, but I wanted bigger because my wheels are thin-spoked. I ended up going with the ls460 bbk from XAT. Works great but finding an equivalent rear kit is hard, the supra/ls430 rear bbk isn't enough for me without the rear kit I get understeer on braking with a car more prone to oversteer on acceleration.
You just encouraged your car to spin out while under performance braking. If you go from 2 piston to 4 piston fronts, the pressure to your rear will be excessive due to the extra fluid volume required to actuate the fronts.. if you have ABS straight line braking will feel fine, under any performance driving be prepared for your rear end to lock up early.. get a proportioning valve to reduce pressure to the rear and have someone check your lock up by filming a 20-0mph very hard braking to balance it. brakes ain't a bolt up and its good type of thing.. it's safety and your life
I understand where you’re coming from, but it’s not that deep. The LS400 & TT calipers in the rear is a solid tested setup between Supra owners. That brake combo is pretty close to the OEM brake bias. The car hardly gets driven hard anyways considering it’s NA. Thanks for your input tho
