I just started a virtual medical scribe job (from home) with zero experience except for medical terminology classes at school 🥲 it’s sooo overwhelming. We use epic. I have no experience with epic and we haven’t started the epic training yet , only soap note training .
Can anybody become a scribe?? I’m working as a bus driver but I want to get into medicine. I’m 28, and have been thinking about this for a long time now.
I just had my first EMR training day and frankly overwhelmed by the system and all of the buttons there are to press lol. Wish me luck as I haven’t even gotten to floor training yet and not very confident. Any advice would be welcome!
Hi Crony, a very useful clip.. Good Work.. I wish you best for success regarding the course you mentioned... Tmrw is my 4th week of training.. Despite my 6+ expertise in MT Healthcare field, there seems a lot to learn and grasp to dedicate our passion of Scribe To our Fellowbeings!!

My experience was different I applied through scribe America but I received an email and the requirement was to complete scribe 101 and after successfully completing that once you pass you receive a certificate and the senior ambassador contacts you for a scheduled interview. After the interview then you receive an email offering you a position if you make it through the interview process, there is a typing test you are expected to take beforehand to test your typing skills. I recommend learning about the company and the duties of a medical scribe learn your medical abbreviations and medical terminology. But thank you so much for sharing your experience. I love how you mentioned you are doing this for your future, I needed to hear that honestly. 💕
@@bridgetosei9911 for my personal experience I completed the scribe 101 training on a Thursday afternoon and then a few hours later on that same day I received an email for an interview. But that was just my personal experience everyone’s experience can be different so if you are in the process of waiting to hear back don’t get nervous if they take a few days to reach out to you. Best of luck!
hi ! i’m going to start college the 23rd for nursing !! i graduated early i’m 17, i applied for a scribe and it was no experience needed , will i learn what i need to know there?
Hello! I stumbled on your video because I am considering becoming a medical scribe. Was this job part-time? If it was how much were you paid? Do you advise that I do a full-time job and scribing as a part-time job? Thank you for this!
Hi there, I’m transitioning from law enforcement to the medical field and I was worried about what position I apply for and this helped tremendously! Thank you :)
Greetings, Hope you're having a wonderful out there. That's a great deal of information you've provided on medical scribing. I'm working in the field of healthcare documentation for the past 15 years and I'm now planning to switch to scribing. I'm one of the top-performing documentation specialists for the company here in India. Just wanted to know how much is the per hour rate for a beginner scribe and an experienced scribe there in The U.S. Thanks in advance. Awaiting your reply. :-)
Chris Hill do it ! It’s not hard and it doesn’t take two weeks . Maybe two days at the most, I have my second interview at a regional urology center in my city tomorrow. It’s legit.
I’m doing medical terminology and the class has a lot of medical words it’s a lot of Memorization and it is hard as fuck but I am definitely sticking with it and I am trying my best to get an A I’m a high B but shooting for an A.
Do you have to have health insurance to be a scribe? I have to wait until open enrollment later this year since I missed the window after turning 26 :/ Also, I couldn't find you on Instagram. Do have a new handle?
lol pa school is just as competitive as medical school. there’s different requirements for every pa program whereas med school requirements are generally standardized so you have an easier time applying to more med schools.
I’ll be finishing my medical terminology course in June so I’ll study the terms while applying for jobs and fixing my resume. This is the job I’ve wanted during college!
