My wife and I have a son and a daughter who are totally sold out to be a narcissist, yet I never hear you speak about children that are narcissist. It’s been a heartbreaking and long grueling road and you are helping us out very much. However, I would like to hear some stories about how to deal with children. These are adult children ages 54 and 51 respectively. Thank you you have been a blessing to us both.
I have come to realize the goal of a narcissist is to dismantle their victim in conflict. If the narcissist can’t dismantle the victim, the narcissist will send in the flying monkeys.
? I work for a covert/overt narc. It is painful and gross to see how he manipulates and uses occasional kindnesses to control his employees. He is dismissive and critical of opinions and/or concerns you may have, while presenting a facade of, “the understanding, come talk to me about it and let’s work together to improve or support or fix it.” I took too long to see that he respects no other person’s opinion or capabilities but his own. We enjoyed poking fun at one another which started as benign banter but has since taken an increasingly personal, cruel tone on his part, and I stopped playing long ago upon recognition of his intent to undermine, embarrass and make me out to be a buffoon or clueless jerk. Now I feel guilty for playing along, as well as responsible for the situation I am in with this person. Is it possible to get to a place where I can fly under his radar and maintain emotional & mental stability while remaining in my job? Working overtime- Thanks for your work on this channel.
I have recently come to learn that my mother in law is a major narc. I always knew she was off, manipulative, controlling and caddy but didn’t know what was really going on. I thought she was just mean but I now know she’s a narcissist to a tea. I’ve been married to her son for 12 years now. And for 12 years she’s tried to pressure my husband into picking what she wants over what I want. This mostly happens with big events and the holidays. It’s infuriating. She has FOUR adult sons ALL older than 30 and only ONE is married. They all have addiction problems and are angry men. AND the 3 That aren’t married ALL live with her! UMM embarrassing! The level of control and manipulation has caused her adult children to all come home FOREVER. Ok maybe not but she has manipulated them all into thinking she can’t be alone. I have come to realize that I will never have sister in laws or nieces and nephews. My kids won’t have cousins! 😢 She keeps pretending it’s all fine and is in complete denial of what she’s created. She’s so fake with her face creams and tanning 🙄 never leaving the house without her fake eyelashes and full makeup. Someone might see who she really is! Painting a picture of how much she has it all together. Ya right! when the ENTIRE community is like ummm no. The same abuse she has used on her boys has been spewing over to me and my children. I pray God finds a way for us to move hours away so I don’t have to put up with her demons anymore. I KNOW there are other wives out there experiencing this. I’m so sorry that we have to find ways to navigate these people. I can see the justice beginning to happen though. Now that she is a widow the spotlight is on her and her mistakes ESPECIALLY that all three of her sons moved back in. She can’t hide that. That was FOUR years ago and They are STILL there! Now they are all fighting about who gets what and who gets to keep the house and it’s turned into a giant dog kennel. What a mess! I’m so glad that my husband has enough sense to not get involved….maybe that sense is my voice of reason. 🤷🏼♀️ Lord help us!
I served my malignant narcissist husband divorce papers last Friday the 13th after 10 years together. The first 4-5 years of our marriage was wonderful! But when I truly was born again and became closer to Jesus, the further away he went and the mask kept slipping. I felt like I’ve been in a toe to toe battle with Satan himself for years now. I never backed down, I put up boundaries, especially the last year of our marriage and it got worse and worse. It got so bad, I didn’t even know who he was anymore. Then I found out he sexually abused our 22 month old daughter and that’s when CPS was called and papers were served. He kept me home as an indentured servant and wouldn’t help out at all and withholding affection from me to see me suffer. We haven’t had sex since we conceived our daughter. He let Satan into his life and he nearly drained my soul. But God had me keep fighting and keep going. I have a restraining order against him and an excellent attorney.
My devout Catholic covert, narcissistic wife made me disgusted at the Catholic Church, especially at what she did how she alienated me with the church because of my views on the church as a business and what I learned is that the Catholic Church is the misrepresentation of Jesus Christ end of story

Many many times mam. The cold stare. My mom met my dad when she was young and didn't have the greatest upbringing. So because of the upbringing she married my dad to get away from her mom. She got pregnant with me and then after a few years when I started going into my tweens she used God to make me feel bad and there was always guilt. She had no patience with me and when she would lose patience with me she would slap me if I did anything against her rules or made a mistake as a kid, maybe abad report card or whatever, I was punished with spankings sometimes these spankings were with a belt and I could see and feel the anger coming out of her. My aunt who dominates her and also would instigated it and delivered the belt across me alot as well.
Yes I have an Aunt though. My mom lives next door to her. My Aunt dominates my mother, pushing her aside when it includes me or my daughter. She theatens us with her geriatric lawyer. Yes I'm a people pleaser. I say sorry alot sorry, God bless
