Get their email address/phone number, name and physical address, before you do the work, send them an invoice upon completion, and send them an invoice reminder after 30 days I never bother people for payment, just generic invoice reminder after 30 day, ppl pay it 99.99% of the time Most of the business world operates on “net 30 terms” Don’t message people desperate, just carry on and do more And any bigger job above 1000, or 2000, take a deposit or have them pay in thirds Maybe a two day pressure washing job you collect $500 first day, $500 second day etc
All my jobs are paid up even $1000 job same day took three hours. Go to rich white Neighbor hoods. Most Indians and Asians are stingy as hell. They can have the most dirtiest windows you’d ever seen in your life but they still think there saving money not cleaning them. They”d rather pay 15k for window replacement instead
Here's my attitude in a nutshell: I know that statistically on every single street there is a very receptive person who will be happy to see me and who would love to buy from me. All I need to do if find them. It's like a treasure hunt. In fact, when people open the door and immediately say, "not interested", inside I'm thankful because they didn't waste my time. I'm on a hunt to find my customer. I know they're behind one of these doors! Gotta knock them all to find them.

When I go to a customers house if they talk to me like that vulgarity and their first sentence, I turn around and leave I am a man you talk to me with respect.
You obviously don’t own a home in California . Got 1000$ the other day for windows gutters and Cobweb removal . Inside and out and customer was glad to pay it .
