Thank you for clicking on my channel, welcome! I'm Hananya le Clercq, a multi-genre writer, who shares tips & tricks and talks about life.
I'm working on several books at the same time, hoping to one day publish all of them.
So far I've published: - a co-authored book on Wattpad titled, Allure (in both Dutch and English) - a short story titled "I, Dan Monroe, am Dead" in the Stygian Collection

Those heat changing mugs are so cool. I was actually today years old though when I found out what Animal Crossing was haha. But now that I do know the mug is even cooler 😂
This tag looks interesting! And I agree with you that every story has been written before. It's in HOW you write it that makes it unique. You can give ten people the same writing prompt and get 10 vastly different stories.
Definitely recommend "Romancing the Beat". And a big favorite of mine is "The Writer's Book of Matches". It's actually a prompt book, but the way it's set up visually has had me fascinated with it since I was a teenager.
I did this tag ages ago but its a lot of fun! I feel you on the neighbours banging. We have construction outside the house right now, thankfully I record so early in the morning that it doesn't impact videos but nap time is impossible 😅
I read The Anatomy of a Best Seller by Sascha Black last year and recommend it - it's a great way guide to looking at the books you love and helping you figure out why you loved certain things and how you can then implement those things in your own writing.
Plot & Structure by James Scott Bell was one of my first writing skills books, too! Got Save the Cat one, and liked it. I've got Story Genius but haven't read it yet! Got the self editing one, too. I do not have How Not to Write a Novel! Never heard of it. Okay, you're reading Story Genius with me to do on my podcast! Never heard of Still Writing. Got those three thesauruses. The Emotion Thesaurus is one of my favorite writing skills books! Ooooh, I would love that travel guide through medieval England. The last one that's Dutch, I couldn't tell what that one was, and it didn't look familiar. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the overview. Relatively new to Scrivener and I really liked your use of keywords to quickly identify the characters who comprise each scene!
Fun! I think I'll do this one, self-tagged! lol Chuck Tingle does write some out there stuff, he's AMAZING, and is now a hybrid author - self published heaps of dino erotica and other satirical/parody/politcal awesomeness, and now has some traditionally published books as well, Camp Damascus is one, though I feel like there was another too, or maybe another one in the works. Despite not being a huge part of the scene yet, you know what you're talking about. You'll kill it when you do launch!
Ah thanks for that encouraging comment on knowing what I'm talking about 🥰 Please do let me know when you do the tag, so I am sure to look out for it! (should just watch all your videos but life sometimes messes things up)
'overwhelming when you see all there is to do' yes, THIS! Was just remarking about this issue on our story bible stream party... need to figure out a way to break it down for myself for the various editing phases. 💯
