Dear Rhona, The suction power of a TSHD depends on the power of the dredging pump, which relates to the size of the vessel. The larger the vessel, the more powerful is the dredge pump. To name a few: • Depth and with of the river • Discharge of the river • Level of contamination • Material to be dredged • Available equipment. All these and other factors determine the costs of the dredging project. A straight answer can’t be given.
