This is the studio version poorly dubbed to a live video, Gary's lips aren't moving anywhere near in sync with the words of the studio song, people believe what they're hearing is live? Wow!
Gary sings at high pitch so effortlessly that it looks like he's lip syncing, but there are parts in the song, especially toward the end, where he's just a touch flat and of course, then there's a few ad-libs. He's not lip syncing.
I woke up and found myself in front of a glow unlike anything I ever seen before. I heard voices from every country I ever heard of it took me a minute to realize that they were singing the same song just in different language. Oh wait that glow was God and all the voices were singing to Him. Save us Jesus we are all your children we just don't realize that yet. Love Always love.
I just sit in these flames and pray that you'll come back Close my eyes tightly, hold on and hope that I'm dreaming Come wake me up… Gary’s voice is amazing and he sings so effortlessly… sounds better live.
What happened? This group was so over the top collectively from 2000 to right after the album 'Come Wake Me Up' was on. I'm guessing completely different song writers came in......but I don't know? They fell off in such a big and obvious way. Still love the group but damn they need some spark back.
Jay Demarcus and Joe Don Rooney are both incredibly talented. Both of their vocal abilities are what contributes to the Rascal Flatts sound. Wouldn't be Rascall Flatts without either of them
Jay and Joe are both the brains behind the lyrics and music. with that being said Gary is the singers of all country singers. They all compliment each other.
That Bass part at 3:23 is so cool. I heard it on the album and rewatched this to see it. The audio and video is a little off but you can see him doing it.
It usually depends on the venue. Normally he'll use the camo style one like in the video and sometimes he'll use a black version of the same microphone. He used the black on a lot when they toured overseas
