I am writing a book and was doing some research when I came upon this. Really nice. Really well said. At first, I was like, who is this weirdo?! Is he crazy? But no. you exude a joyfulness and carefree nature and you explained what I needed to hear very well. Thank you.
Let all the visions come and go... just be an observer... don't fight with them... thing of them coming out of you to leave.... and observer your breath.... once that increases all the thoughts will eventually go... but initially all will come to distract you... just observe to leave your thoughts
That cave looks rather like a home, what with the stairways and walls and electricity! I found this video while planning a meditation retreat in a cave that is decidedly more rustic! I'll be spending five days meditating in a small cave in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, that opens into a majestic canyon, with sheer walls 700 feet high. While my chosen cave is shallow, it is also very remote, so it's unlikely I'll hear another human voice all week. The nearest road is two miles away, so road noise is unlikely as well. The canyon outside the cave mouth has a gentle slope along the creekside, perfect for walking meditation.
I am amazed and thankful for this video. The first time I tried this, I did not expect it to work, but within a few minutes my headache was gone. Now, I come here every time I have a headache. THANK YOU!
So simple, yet one of the best guided meditations I have listened to! By reminding me to notice my thoughts and let them go, I felt much more focussed. It was really refreshing for my mind, thank you!
Wonderful! I also find this very helpful: Meditator becomes aware of a number of stages in the process. 1. Lift 2. Bend 3. send 4. drop 5. put 6. press Then add,Intending to lift - lifting Intending to bend - bending This training will synthesize into awareness of what mind is attending to.
