I recently added a 5610U to my collection and put the adapters and a green expandable nylon strap on it. I like it but this is next level... may have to source another just to do this! Looks fantastic!

Today I purchase it in USD65 #26970. I hope it works well, however I like its big daddy automatic version #29178 but it costs USD160, big difference from quartz to automatic.
At 160 USD I would recommend automatic watches from Aliexpress, better quality overall with the same Seiko movement. The quartz Invicta is a great watch, I hope you enjoy it!
I understand your point, and I agree to a certain extent. They can keep making very affordable watches from plastic, but complement their offerings with premium products, especially in the vintage category. I think if they do this they will make everyone happy.
@@SK27_VLOGS I haven't reviewed the GBD 100, I think the only difference is square vs circular case, the technology and features should be the same. I think the GBD 100 should wear smaller, but it comes down to your preferred style.
The chrome plate is always what makes me buy a cheap metallic watch! Shame the AE1200 Casio Royale has just metallic paint that doesn't look very good... 😩
I gotcha! The AE1200 has metal mods that make it more “premium” looking. The Casio A1100 and A1000 offer stainless steel cases but are a bit more expensive. I made a review of the A1100 if you’re interested.
Ideally not. The water resistance has to do with the case back and button gaskets. The case mods only change the top half of the case and bracelet, so WR should be fine.

With the metal bracelet mod, the watch feels more rugged and heavy (in a good way), but I like to wear the watch in my sleep, so I removed it as it’s less “sleep friendly “ if that makes any sense. If it’s the metal one, 140 AUD is too much I would say, if it’s titanium, then it’s a good price.
Good looking and elegant. Unfortunately it’s priced at $200 here on Amazon India. I got a similar Ana-Digi Enticer (MTP-VC01L) for just around $35 and I’m really happy about it.
I don’t know, I bought one of these kits for my 5610u and the metal bezel/case didn’t slip on as easy as yours did. I actually had to push fairly hard and it wasn’t quite right so I couldn’t use it.

Does this watch indicate the tide? If I understand correctly people go fishing at high tide, so when the display indicates it's time to fish does that mean it's now high tide?
