I filmed in h265 + apple log HDR on the iPhone 15 pro but when I try to import it to Davinci it only shows audio, the video is missing. I have the Hevc extension installed on my Windows 11. Can you help me?
I am waiting on my iPhone 16 Pro to get here. I’m pretty excited about the new buttons from a videography perspective. I tried it out at the store, but haven’t used it extensively. Seems pretty promising to me. Time will tell. Crazy how many people have a knee-jerk distaste for something new when they haven’t even had time to get good at it.

I don't have a GH7, but exposing ETTR on the S5 can make skin colour look a bit plastic-y. I do over expose, but I keep it 0.5 to 1 stop over - or, if controlled lighting, I try and aim for 42/45%.
Yes. I will buy the 15 Pro to avoid the accidental touches on this mini Touch Bar. And to not drop it because of awkward handling. Fixing a broken iphone is insanely expensive. I can not afford to take that chance. I will rather wait until iphone 18 when they remove the button before i invest in a more modern phone. Iphone 15 Pro has Apple intelligence and ProRes LOG so it will work for the nex 3-5 years.
Hey There, Thanks for the video.. I am using multiple colour profile in my videos,lets say gopro videos ( Colour profile:HD (1-1-1)), Iphone Videos ( Colour profile: BT.2020 HLG (9-18-9)), DJI drone videos ( Colour profile:HD (1-1-1)) and Sony Camera Videos ( Colour profile: 1-11-1)). Could you please advise me. the best colour profile which i need to use in Davinci for a better result. Thank u

The biggest bummer for me is that the optional AK-BT2 Bluetooth adapter will still support Atomos UltraSync BLUE only. No support for Deity or Tentacle 🤯 Come on, @TASCAMUSA! You can do better than this. I'd really love to have an ecosystem with usable wireless timecode.
Yes but my 15Pro overheats and dims the screen after about 15 seconds outside on a sunny day, the 15Pro was a bit of a mess too. Battery is poor too. Hopefully 17Pro will be a better phone.
It would be great if you could activate the video with this touch bar but from my experience I have to keep the button pressed to continue shooting video. It should have been long press>record video>stop video using short press. I'm not holding my hand down on this button for 30-50s or longer.
No but nice try using that just to make a video. It’s going to be used mostly for VI when it comes out. Turn it off if you want. End of story. I don’t use the feature but love it as a launch button
Now that you mentioned it, it kinda feels like the Touch Bar but for iPhone. I played little bit with it and it needs a lot of patience to get a shot. I’m not a professional photographer or filmmaker so I find it easier to just use the screen to take photos and videos on my iPhone 16 pro max
It’s rubbish. I played with it and in portrait mode it’s a hindrance. I could see its use for landscape mode but other than that it gets in the way for normal. How often does the average user shoot video ? Seldom. I may return it.

Hey! I just filmed a wedding, I made a mistake during the ceremony and was in 59fps and kept my shutter speed at 1/50 as though I was in 24.. it’s a bit jittery, this video was made years ago is there anything to help save this footage even a bit? 🙃
I'd prefer at least one extra channel. I'd love to be able to use the 3.5 mm jack for a road wireless go ii and also run a shotgun mic or 2 at the same time.
Just for clarification about the F3 and timecode. It does have timecode in but it is SUPER limited. Needs the Ultra Blue Sync and only works via Bluetooth with the additional Bluetooth module. To say it doesn’t have TC period, is disingenuous at best.
I heard lot of people talking and showing a bad performance in low lights. like strange flickering and artifacts....do you noticed something like that?
