I had one of these beasties once upon a time. It was under the Poulan Pro brand (AYP made at the time, I guess it falls under Husqvarna now), school bus yellow with a manual gear transmission. It sounded like a Diesel engine when running and started like one during the winter, it took some time to coax it and I had the misfortune of blowing the twin mufflers apart from backfires, but that was easily fixed with pipe clamps and some help welding them from a friend. Good tractor, but guzzled gas like crazy.

I had one of these what was regularly used since new. It was bulletproof. The only reason I got rid of it is because it had some fueling issue I couldn't figure out, sold it to a guy who probably fixed it and is still using today.

Those horizontal opposed twin engines were the best ever made in my opinion, smooth running, good power and will last forever with proper maintenance
