hello my friend because you're in chemistry I would like to know is there any way to make transparent starch solution? because I tried to filter it and it doesn't work .thx
@thismarktaylor
@thismarktaylor 5 месяцев назад
Maltose might suit you. It is a starch and id does form a transparent solution but it will likely be a yellow color.

shouldn't the temperature be in Kelvin?
@thismarktaylor
@thismarktaylor 5 месяцев назад
Since the equation uses a change in temperature (Tfinal - Tinitial) the units for temperature can be either Kelvin or Celsius.

hold on a sec, this reaction has a positive Gibbs free energy?
@thismarktaylor
@thismarktaylor 9 месяцев назад
This video shows the calculation for the Enthalpy for the reaction, but the Gibbs energy is actually positive for this reaction (~102kJ)

How do you know how to disperse the electrons like since the total came out to 13 due to the positive charge like you only shared up to the last two boxes and you didn’t disperse 1 into each last 3 idk I’m very confused

Why did you put the lower concentration in the numerator? Is it because the smaller the concentration the more likely it will be oxidized?

why is it 2 e- under Cu?
@thismarktaylor
@thismarktaylor Год назад
The copper (Cu) comes from copper sulfate (CuSO4). Since the charge of the copper in copper sulfate is positive two we know the half reaction is: Cu(s) --> Cu^2+(aq) + 2e^-

Thank you SO MUCH for this video! I used this video to review for a quiz retake for my college chemistry class, and I felt WAY more confident about my answer after watching this video than I did on my first quiz attempt having NOT watched the video. Will definitely recommend this channel to my other classmates! ❤️

can you do a tutorial to dissolve casein in water?
@thismarktaylor
@thismarktaylor 2 года назад
I have never tried but it seems like casein would insoluble in water. Did you want to see a suspension (colloid like) or a significant adjustment of pH (not sure if that would work).
