First of two perfectly delivered lines by Peter here at 2:30 especially the way he culminates in "fucking sanatorium for the fucking deaf" and then at 2:56 with Peter using his hands to really sell this line - I love this, and it is this attention to detail which Peter along with Armando would have rehearsed through to get it so right. Love it.
i’ve done mapping in the poke decomp projects before, this looks very interesting! i was just wondering what you do with the .pm files this outputs? Is there any way to put this in rom hacking tools to use with a rom hack? Like binary, decomp, or even rxmp? Or is this purely just for making pretty looking maps :D
Honestly i would highly recommend looking into Tiled if you're looking to make maps for an actual project rather than as a hobbyist. You can output to RPGMaker-compatible file formats and it honestly has way more features and less bugs than PROEditor. It's got a bit of a steeper learning curve but it has a lot of really neat features that absolutely dwarf this program in comparison which makes the learning worthwhile if it's something you're gonna do for a project.
I took a journalism course once and the first thing the professor taught (former investigative journalist) was don't talk to journalists. Second was if you must talk to them be clear about what's on or off the record before you say anything, and then assume they're liars and will find a way to quote you. Then she taught us how to investigate around on the record/off the record constraints by getting other less apprehensive people to be witnesses to your quote lol
See, this is why I don't get it when people paint Malcolm Tucker as a "bad guy" we're not supposed to root for. This is the shit he has to deal with on a DAILY basis. You know the whole thing about, you can't let toddlers out of your sight for 2 seconds because they'll instantly try to kill themselves on the nearest dangerous thing? THAT'S HIS JOB, but with grown fucking adults.
The sad thing is, as much as this is a comedy, this is how a lot of British politicians actually are. Incompetent, neglectful and lacking basic awareness and common sense. It’s scarily true to real life British politics.

What’s fun to think in these woke days is that just like Colonel Jessop in A few good men we know Malcolm Tucker is the only person competent to do the job and we laugh at the incompetence of the rest, yet they are the ones in the right…..Tucker is the one who has no future in this new touchy feely world.
I think mary ann is a great symbolism of people who dont crack under pressure i think this was the one argrument malcom couldent win because marions honest and doesn't get easily threatened or manipulated and while he pretends to act tuff malcom was definitely shoock
She knows it's all bluster and noise, and knows its part of the game - we see Marianne later in the series having a curry at Malcolm's house with the other John Pigface Journos so they all know when to scratch each others backs
