Just saw them May 19th with Psychostick, Bit Brigade, and The Masters of Unlocking. I was smitten with URIZEN. Had no idea how lucky we were to even see them perform! (i also bought one of their shirts... it still has 4 members on it. But due to tragedy, they're down to 3.) I wasn't even thinking about that at the time, and I'm glad to keep the memory of their brother alive.

So much the future of a prog-metal revival, snuffed out far too soon. Protomen deserve mainstream play and praise. This and "Silent Running/Breaking Out" are easily in top 100 songs ever made.

mixing may be a little off on this but i still keep finding myself coming back to this video! panther's vocals always blow me away but this particular performance was absolutely fantastic. and i'd never seen him fall off the the amps(?) before after light up the night- almost gave me a heart attack til i saw the cushion! wish i wasn't, like, 8 years old when this performance happened 😅
