Thank you this. I'm 100% natural that get my hair flat ironed twice a month. My ends are dried and needs extra care and attention. I didn't know exactly how the overnight serum should be used.
I would love to see this line used on more tight type 4 hair in different ways. For instance a wash and go, vs a stretched hair style. These products are pretty expensive. I would want to know if I can transition my wash and go into a twist out, if my super dense hair is going to require the entire jar of gel.

There's clearly a preferred aesthetic that is featured in Aveda ads. This line is supposed to the result of exhaustive research on all hair types, yet there are only brief glimpses of those with tighter textures. It's a shame bc I have used Aveda products for my wash and goes for years. Seems like a missed opportunity that Aveda is centering looser "textured hair" more prominently in this launch and it may send the wrong message to many. Also makes me wonder what the marketing team looks like.
