Good information. Maybe test a couple plugged coolers of various amounts of restricted layers. My cooler that after cutting open showed about 1/4 to 1/3 of the lower passages were obviously plugged. It had a 15 to 18 deg. Delta.
Hallo, wie schnell zieht das Körapur an? Ich möchte 1,8mm PVC verkleben - über eine Kante hinweg (hinab). Das kurze Stück soll nach Möglichkeit unten kleben bleiben. VG
Cant believe video doesn't have positive comments. This is excellent video as there are NO other Econoline 6.0 pressure test videos. I'm doing pre-purchase testing of 2005, E450, 6.0, class C motorhome. None of other videos on pickups show the 2nd step of relieving pressure from degas bottle and continuing test. Eliminating a false positive high pressure due to warm up expansion of cooling system. Plus it shows the essential data fields that need to be watched during test. Everyone says check... But only a few say which fields to check. This unit must have the fuel pressure spring upgrade, judging by fuel pressure??? Lots of videos on engines with problems, but none on good engine to compare to. Thanks for posting video, probably the best 6.0 video on YT.
Would you be willing to sell the tool you made? I’d like to make one but I don’t think I have the means to lathe in the offset for the taper in order to push the old one out.
I’ve had good results with Alliant seals. All my upper injector seals and nipple cups are sealed with alliant. 25k miles and haven’t had a leak. Just had my passenger side standpipe intermediate d ring blow. They were the updated design from ford. Just resealed them with an alliant seal kit. 🤞 Btw, I suddenly developed a hard long crank start first time in the morning(5 sec). Ipr would go to 85. No issues with hot crank the rest of the day. In case someone has the same symptoms.
Hey would it always shoot coolent out when opening after it was hot. Mine won't do that but it does have air pressure. Mine doesn't build enoigh release out if cap but upper hose is pretty hard after getting up to operating temp.
I have a 6.0 that has 20mm heads with 18mm rocker boxes and the stand pipes and dummy plugs just have superior part only . How bad can be that for my engine or my injectors?
Great Vid. This CJB vid is a friggin unicorn. :-) Almost impossible to find out here in the wild. It would really be beneficial to see how you got it all separated. Also, the solder joints you indicate in the prior comment, am I correct in assuming it is *just* the double row of standoff-pins? Or are there others that need desoldering as well? Additionally, Are those relays the main culprits to the ghost problems?
To remove the plates completely from each other, all solder joints must be removed. I recommend the relocation solution in case of a defect of the fuel pump relay.
@@MOSELFvideo I am not actually having the fuel relay problem.. I am having a problem with the power/control to the brake warn light + chime (constantly on) along with no power to cruise control, no blinkers, and no daytime running lights (this was a Canadian truck with the DRL module). Given they are all failing via a short or an open power circuit, I have chased the problem to the CJB (post-March-2002 f-350 powerstroke). I have not been able to find the actual PCB schematics for the instrument cluster or the CJB anywhere on the web.. if you know of such, please drop a link in the reply ;-)
