Hi Jason, You can extend the screen using either AirPlay or Miracast, depending on which laptop you are sharing from. These screen sharing protocols may not be enabled on your Airtame screen by default but simply follow this video for how to enable them: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qfJCtyPDgD4.html Alternatively, you can share a specific window from your laptop screen, allowing you to switch your laptop view to a presenter view. We cover this in greater detail in this help center article: help.airtame.com/hc/en-us/articles/5130703889181-How-to-Screen-Share-presentation-with-Presenter-Mode
Hi fkmobile1, Call from browser are supported on all desktop OSs and will run on all popular browsers including Chromium based browsers like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera as well as Firefox and Safari. You can try it yourself from August 5th with Airtame Hub + Hybrid.
Just letting you know that your interace is not at all intuitive. I'm attempting to learn how to upload graphics and make edits to our videos and your software does not make it easy to learn.
All new macOS's don't show the AirPlay button by default. This should be updated to include instructions on enabling the AirPlay icon through Control Center from System Settings.
How can I see my cursor/pointer with MacOS app on the share window mode? I am tring to display a presentation in presenter mode so I can see the presenter notes the presentation is being displayed and I need to use the pointer to point at things on my screen but when I am sharing a window, the pointer disappears and only comes back in share window mode.
I am going to share from a pc. 1. Can I share to multiple iPads? 2. Do all devices have to have an internet connection? 3 if yes how much internet bandwidth will they be using?
Hi there - thanks for the question. It can do a number of things! This approach to conferencing brings higher performance to calls in a conference room setting: The Airtame Hub is hardwired into the network via Ethernet, and it is also hardwired into the peripherals (camera, speaker and microphone at the front of the room). This means the video feed is injected directly into the call with virtually zero latency. A wireless HDMI transmitter in a conferencing setting would have to send audio and video wirelessly back and forth, which can introduce delay, and degrades picture and audio quality. Also, you don't have to rely on the performance of your laptop, its signal strength or worry about its remaining battery power, since the Hub does all the heavy lifting. There's a lot more we can share; if you're interested in learning more, you can book a quick demo here: airtame.com/calls/demo-call/
Microsoft 4K Wireless Display Adapter V3 for less then $ 100,- and very not depending on a WiFi network. Why would I need an Airtame? Can somebode explain?
Personally I like Airtame 2 since it is device agnostic. I love the cloud management features as well. Well worth the extra price in your more vital conference areas compared to the MWDA IMHO.
Hey there! Thanks for your question Yes , you are able to extend the desktop using Airplay. Here is a helpful guide that goes through the steps: help.airtame.com/hc/en-us/articles/5204323988381-Extend-your-screen-with-Airtame-2. I have same question here, because today i got airtame 2 device + poe adapter and pluget into my PoE switch and airtame 2 device is powering on but there is no ethernet port activity on the switch i tried two different PoE switches with no luck. Only power is supplied, but no internet connection. Is it suppose to be that way or airtame PoE adapter is faulty ? My PoE switch'es is working correctly and supplying 48V PoE 802.3at/af to all my PoE access points.
@@zdrgdr they writes in the discription. The Airtame PoE Adapter lets you power your Airtame 2 through a PoE connection over USB. Together with our Aircord and a PoE-enabled network, you have a 3-in-1 solution that powers your Airtame, connects it to your network, and plugs into your display screen’s HDMI.
@@zdrgdr There is their answer. If you use the PoE, the Airtame will be connected to Ethernet (transmit data via Ethernet), as well as receive the power supply from the Ethernet connection.
@@bonjovi8610 When it must be Airtame2 PoE adapter is faulty because i only got power but no ethernet connection, i tried different PoE switches and different PoE injectors but no luck. I already contacted airtame support they collected some logs and i'am waiting for verdict.
As a backer of the mk1, at the start had a few issues, but after a few updates have had no issues with the connection and at the moment its current location is 15ft from my router and go through 2 walls(wood/plaster) and the front of the TV. But for this video of the mk2... Maybe it is lost in translation, less wub wub and more info, in short, just made it bigger, being round, an antenna for the increased range, you changed the normal location/gave it a longer extension cable to assist with a better signal... talk about HDMI of the original than say nothing about the newest version that uses the same just with a USB Type C splitter.
Hey there, thanks for sharing your opinion :) Seems like you are happy with the first version of Airtame. Glad to hear that! Here's a comparison article between our two devices. You might find it interesting: airtame.com/compare/airtame-one-alternative/
Our director (Shawn) was impressed by your product at ISE - Amsterdam - We(AV King - Australia) are keen to talk about distribution of your Airtame product over here, please contact me (Millin Bear - Solutions Manager - E: millin.b@theavking.com.au) to work out the details... P.S. I know this is a public comment, and I am happy for any end-user in Australia to contact me via the above email, as I think this product will carry several benefits over the ScreenBeam that we currently offer to our education clients...
Hi Millin, sorry for the late answer here but I hope you have contacted our sales team already. Anyway, I've just sent over your information to them and they will reach out :)
Hey there, this is something that we are considering and we are planning to start working on next year. According to the price - first you have to notice that Airtame 2 is a product designed for professional use. As such, beyond screen mirroring, we offer additional features and management solutions that are part of the final price tag :)
