This is my absolute favorite stand up to the higher price points! Very, very quiet and comfortable!! Wish they would offer the other styles of seat though!
It is my favorite stand from any company up to the way more expensive cast stands. I really hope to see more like it with more seat options like I stated above. Keep the price point. I'm looking forward to seeing the new options!
Ahhh this is why I got my Jumbo Jacks so cheap at Tractor!!!! New model looks great! Love my stand now that all the rusty out of the box pieces got replaced!
Just picked up the LD203 for under $400 and by far the best stand I’ve ever assembled. They have individual hardware packets for each step in the process (genius). Craftsmanship is A plus just need to get it up in the tree now.
I bought this stand 2 years ago. Havent got many hours sitting in it and this week i noticed it cracked where the platform attaches, and it broke as I was hanging it. If I hadnt of noticed it I would have been in it before daylight the next morning. Could have been a bad deal. I'm contacting Riversedge so I can hopefully send them pics of my broken 2 yr old stand.
Not all their stands have lock down. No holes for stabilizing bar. Straps they send in box. I wouldn't dare climb it without just a regular 4 pack of 1inch ratchet straps,$9.99 special they can't afford.
I own the stand and love it however this video is awful. So backlit you can see anything. I cant believe a mfgr would put this out for marketing material.
I was hard headed about this for years, screw in steps, no harness, made hundreds of sets, but no more. Now it tree steps and lineman's belt all the way, and it's much easier too. Use the belt and the harness, get home safe to your family.
Two things I dislike most about ladder stands: a creaking, noisy ladder and a foot rest in the way when getting in and out. Good solutions to both of those problems with this stand!
Good idea. I did something similar last year hanging a 2 man ladder by myself. But I would rather see you guys do this in thicker brush to show how it does in thick stuff rather than wide open woods.
this stand has a ton of awesome features and addresses a lot of my big complains about most stands. all ladders should be like this one. i hate ladders connected with pins. this is my next stand.
@@camerongoltz5578 i bought the newer version of this stand. it has a really nice shooting rail that is stored below your feet and has a better platform design. its the best stand out there. the new ones also have better hand rails to help you get into the stand.
I have a hell of a time setting this stand for some reason. Holding the stand while tossing the strap around and getting the loop around the bracket is some-what difficult
I been hanging heavy ass loc ons without any lineman’s or safety belt holding on for dear life off of screw in steps all my life since I was 15, I’m 35 now. What I do is screw a step in at stand height then hang stand on step to hold all the weight so I can attach strap without holding up the stand , I then unscrew step once I have weight off it ! Lol ik I’m frickin nuts and it’s very dangerous ! I’m lookin into a lineman’s belt after 20 yrs of no falls thank god
@@run68bone Be aware of this stand. I bought one 2 yrs ago and havent set in it much. It was broke when I went to hang it last week. Good thing I noticed the crack because it would have broken with me in it the next morning before daylight
