I have been living abroad for over 4 years, and recently I have decided to start filming my adventures and show my love for travelling with all of you!
@@sreychhoukmao6023 WesTory hotel Kanchanaburi, I think it was maybe 1200 baht per night… but this video is in Sangkhlaburi, and I don’t remember which hotels we stay in Sangkhlaburi, you can maybe see in the video
Hi Colten, great video and very useful because my family and I have just booked a fortnight in this resort over Christmas and New Year! Do you remember by any chance the room number for the Sea View Deluxe you had? We are going to stay in the same, you know... All the best X
@@SilviaHamilton-u1r Hi Silvia, thank you for your comment. But unfortunately I don’t remember the room number, so sorry. But you will have an amazing time. I am on the island right now actually and the weather is beautiful. Just walked by KC and many people enjoying the swim up bar. Hope you have a wonderful visit. It’s truly a great hotel!! Breakfast is also very big and so yummy. 🤤
Thank you very much Jim. I appreciate that. I have not made a video in a long time but travels will start in a couple months again so new videos coming soon.
How did you pay? They're asking for a wire transfer when i inquired through Facebook. Is that usually how everyone else pays? Can you buy tickets at the gate?
Umm nope.. beachfront deluxe villa Check it out on their website or booking.com There is also a paradise beachfront villa that’s nicer than this one. Maybe you are confusing with that one.
Thanks for watching!! This video was taken during rainy season if I remember correctly. That’s why the water in the river is more brown. Still a very beautiful time. We had 1 amazing thunderstorm one night and in that valley on the river it was the BEST!!!! I hope you enjoy your trip ❤️🙏🏼
I’ve been living outside of my home country slowly traveling the world for 5 years now! Drop a comment and get in touch with me. I can show you how you can travel full time as well!
Nope! Not when we we there. But I would suggest. Do not go on a weekend. Try to go weekday and be there at 9am when it opens. Than you will have this same experience with many giraffes around your jeep. If you go when it’s busy than will not have 4+ giraffes around you.
@@hansloh7819 Yea that is correct. Not a lot - but there are a few. You will still get to experience the giraffes. But early in the morning was nice as we were the first keep inside the enclosure. It was a good experience. Also the bus was cool too when the giraffes stuck their heads inside.
@@hansloh7819 No we were driving. Doing a road trip so we had a car. But you could probably arrange private transport. Or you can take the train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. I’ve heard it’s a beautiful ride. And very cheap.
I'm an ex-zookeeper at the Safari Park in Kanchanaburi and have lived here in Thailand for many years. We shut down the volunteer program and I quit due to the horrific animal abuse that we witnessed here. Plenty of proof, the place is currently under investigation with Born Free and other organizations. Please don't support places like this in Thailand. It's not ethical and the abuse results in the animals deaths. Please support hands off animal facilities only.
Yeah I completely understand. I also live in Thailand, have for 5 years. I’ve heard some stories after visiting. But Thais will continue to visit the place as well as some other foreign tourists, until it’s closed down. Maybe one day it will, but that’s not too likely to happen anytime soon I can think. ❤️🙏🏼
Booking.com is usually always my go to. But contacting the hotel, or looking at their Facebook page may bring very good discounts, especially now during rainy season. So be sure to have a look at their Facebook page.
It could be far, depending on where you’re coming from? If you’re coming from Bangkok it’s about 2 hours. I would suggest staying in Kanchanaburi for a night or two. Visit the safari park, and the bridge over the river Kwai, maybe even the hell fire pass. Kanchanaburi has lots to offer. 🙂
Hey thanks for watching! The prices vary depending on the activity you do, there are a few different ones. But I think it cost about 1000 baht per person. That included the private jeep tour(so worth it with the giraffes and zebras) and than feeding the baby leopards as well.
@@tikgetahun3132 Yes. Absolutely. I would only recommend going during a week day. The weekend is very very busy. But if go Tuesday try to arrive at 9 am when it opens. You should be good. Comment back and let me know how it was. 😊
btw. im quite sad that you tell about toks little hut.. it is my favorite hotel/bungalow/resort on the island and i want it to be vacant when i plan to stay there again.- Did jeps bungalows finished their renovation?
@@JohnDoe-gx4lc actually I am on the island right now… just spent 3 nights at toke, changed hotels today.. Toks has added a new bar at the beach area. Jeps has also been re done a bit. It’s nice
@@thegypsysoul Haha, no worries man. I love the feedback, good or bad. But, noted on the more of me less music stuff.. not the first to mention. Thanks Aaron 🙏🏼
