Hii! I have a question - im trying to figure out the beats of this part. It’s not triplets right? Is it partial 16th notes?? HALP. I won’t be able to sleep until I know 😂
There are two minor chords next to each other, F#m and G#m, which suggests that they are based on the 2 and 3 of the (major) scale. Hence the 1 would be E major. So yes I guess you could say it's in the Dorian mode of E major i.e. a variant of F# minor. But I don't think of these things when I'm playing this sort of music by ear or even making sheet music
