Thank you very much for the free campground recommendation. Can a 42' Class A diesel pusher make it in there? Do you know if you can run a generator there? Is there hookups or a dump station?
I am the same I hate huge crowds especially at beaches. Big crowds make it harder to swim and enjoy your day. This was a much better beach that Miami and South beach.
Us too! Those boats get crazy! This was one of my favorite Florida beaches so far. Very clean, not crowded and no trash anywhere. People were all very friendly and I loved the pelicans! Thanks for watching.
If you want a perfect experience, stay in that hotel, don't go camping in manitulan island you're camping, there's going to be some air on the ground.Some dirt candy get a life
We no longer stay at HI Exp hotels because of all the dirt throughout the chain. About 10 years ago, they were wonderful. Now they are expensive and dirty. We are like you guys and travel for HOURS (12 to 18) so when you hit a hotel, you want extra clean and resources readily available. We no longer reserve on a travel website instead, we go to the app and reserve through the hotel. Hope the rest of your travel was far better than this leg of the journey.
@shilohwoods4516 thankfully our next stop we filmed in Florida was beautiful and much better. It is sad how many think this is acceptable service and they have no problem paying for dirty rooms. Will definitely use your tip on reserving via the hotel instead. Thanks for the tip!
Great tour and info…You can park at nite for full-moon hi-tide snorkel or dives, you need to check in with the dive shops in the area…The best time is about 1-2 hours before hi-tide which changes each day…there are tide chart you can check using the Port of Palm Beach as the location.
This comment doesn't apply to this video because things could have been swept and mopped. But it irritates me when people check into a cheap hotel like Holiday Inn or Red Roof and complain about worn items. Things like the bath tub drain has a little rust stain around it, there's a mark on a wall or the wallpaper in the bath is a little dog-eared at the seam. Is your house perfect? You can expect that kind of perfection to detail if your at a Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons and paid $350 and up a night, otherwise expect it to be clean, not perfect.
Yes this is one of my favorites. 2 things. 1 after you dial the lock code; if it doesn’t open when u pull down; “ push up, like u are locking the padlock, and then pull down to open”. 2. You are limited to 30 days a year cumulative for all campgrounds for water mgmt. U are only 30 minutes to town of Okeechobee. Lastly. The website, and u need to get a permit. How to get it.
It seems there’s a theme of not giving the cleaning folks enough time to properly clean rooms at some hotels. They rush previous guests out, barely give the staff any time to reset before the next person comes in. Maybe they were understaffed as well. Not enough workers to go around to tidy up properly.
@thewanderer1321 thank you. Yes I agree way better. We are getting ready for an extended trip to CA then back through some other States. In September we head out for North Dakota for a month to work the Sugar Beet harvest.
It looks like it was unfinished. Like a person started and was interrupted for some reason. Either they forgot to come back or thought their partner got it. Before getting upset I would contact the front desk
Glad to have you! Yes this summer has been far hotter much earlier in the season. Without AC it is very hard to camp unless near water to cool off during the day.
I don't get it. The headline claims filth. Then we see luxury. Then we see a microscopic examination of something less than immaculate conditions. I've stayed in motels that were far worse. So... what's she bitching about? I don't think I want to travel with Becky.
Looks like you filmed after using the bathroom, I see your toiletries in the shower, also the bed looks like you slept in it before filming, I see pajamas on the bed...looks like another fake video to me!
