Brings back memories of my childhood friend Tony John. He was from England. We played all the MB American Heritage games. Dogfight, Broadside, Battle Cry (Civil War), and this Hit the Beach. Many hours of arguing about the rules and changing them. Good times. Also throw in the games of Risk and Stratego. These definitely led to my interest in the Avalon Hill war games and the SPI magazine/game and Dungeon and Dragons. By this time Tony had moved on and I formed other friends but the childhood memories were the more innocent and memorable.

Ok But what is the ise of cavalry & artillery How do they fight Cavalry vs cavalry or artillery Suppose the attacker.has only.4.units and there is artillery.or cavalry in defender territory then how do they battle.??

The "sack -12" on the blitz die only counts if the offense called pass. If offense called run, the run yardage still counts. Played hundreds of games with this!
Wow, looks like you got some treasures. I became a thrift store addict because my mom used to let me tag along with her. Always little independent stores. And when I found they had a game section I was hooked. She let me get several games for far less than one brand new game at a major store. I agree with you on Monopoly Builder. I have tons of Monopoly boards but that one puzzled me. We played it more than once and it just seemed weird, and the rules didn’t help. That one I didn’t keep. I’d be interested in hearing how you tweaked it if you ever did.
