During filed up ds160 , I paid the charges but confirmation page has not taken and not allowed for biometric on schedule date i.e 23.10.2024 and naturally I couldn't attend hearing scheduled on 24.10.2024. in this situation how I get confirmation page and reschedule date for biometric and hearing.
TODAY'S REALITY IN AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES OF HIGHER EDUCATION YOU CANNOT BE PRO-INDIA/PRO MODI IN AMERICAN UNIVERSITIES TODAY. Beware.... From Twitter... After speaking to Indian-origin students in college campuses, many have come to know that the one thing they cannot afford to do is to praise Prime Minister Modi’s policies or defend India’s actions on anything. Professors openly show their dislike of PM Modi. They’ve made up their mind that he is Hitler and there is no democracy nor press freedom in India and Muslims are getting assaulted in large numbers by Hindus. Anyone who dares to defend India or point out that the Indian reality is different from how NYT and The Economist project it -- is given a cold treatment and profiled as a right-wing fascist. But get up in class to speak negatively about India and you will be given extra time to speak and applauded. As a result, many Indians are fitting themselves into the required narrative. Recently, it was heard about one post-doc from India who naively thought he was duty-bound to explain to professors and colleagues that NYT and WaPo were publishing false narratives. Chap is now wondering why none of the profs are giving feedback as he applies for faculty positions. One Indian student recalls that the first time she realized the bigotry of her friends was when Article 370 was rescinded. She thought her college friends were rational people but suddenly they changed their profile photos in social media to the color red to signify that Kashmir was bleeding. When she tried to reason with her friends by explaining how Kashmir had been kept backward by state politicians and how Hindus had been driven out from their homes overnight, they refused to listen and called it Hindutva propaganda. So now she does not discuss such topics any more with her peers. There is a huge lobby of leftists-Muslims-Palestine supporters-Israel haters who do not allow any conversation outside their embedded narratives. The only way Indians can survive on American college campuses is by avoiding any talk of Indian politics and accepting the boundaries in which they can operate. Who would have thought that one day, American universities, which epitomized free speech would become such a hotbed of intolerance?
I don’t really know how kids now a days are so freaking uninformed about life, I mean I was aware with more stuff 20+ years back when internet was Rs. 100/hr in India applying to US universities and eventually making life overseas since. I mean anyone who can’t get into top 50 in US universities is not fit to be have good life in USA. While having all information at finger tips, people are taken for a ride. I mean I filled up each and every university form in fourth year of engineering done gre, toefl exams by going to usefi offices near university, reading research areas and about professors, asking them questions via email and scholarships availability and applying for it. I mean how hard it can get for a grad to do all this thing ? My parents had zero clue about anything until they turned up to say good bye at airport versus parents today being more stressed out than their kids. I mean kids needs to grow up and take responsibility to succeed. If they cant be responsible for their life as a grad (undergrad students i can accept requires some guidance), they should accept and live where they are because they are quite simply not made to cut just like people who are made to enter IIT are genuinely made for that. It simply means one should try to succeed at something else because in life if they continue they will start way down the lane and it is hard to succeed when start in life is way low. Just accept and do something you are good at and genuinely passionate about. There is no work in life that is good or bad or can be don’t can’t be done….
Seeing video, I appreciate your struggle, even my daughter completed her Master in computer from Steven University, hoboken, then I realized single girl struggle. Life is tough, and success and failure are part of life, I pray for happiness.
Are don't go to US at all. Their economy is set to be doomed. All of your parents savings would be wasted in college fees and you won't get any job at all.
