🔥 Reflection on Exodus Chapter 6 🌿 In Exodus 6, the key takeaway is how God was revealing Himself not just to Moses and Aaron, but to the children of Israel and even to Pharaoh and the Egyptians. This chapter is all about how God introduces His power, His faithfulness, and His character to everyone involved. 🙏 God didn’t choose Moses because of Moses' abilities-He chose Moses to display His capabilities. 💪 Moses and Aaron were simply vessels through whom God was working to fulfill the promise He made to Abraham over 400 years ago. ⏳ God was showing everyone who He is-the faithful, covenant-keeping God. He wanted the Israelites to know that the same God who made promises to their ancestors was still at work, still in control, and still committed to their deliverance. 🕊️ This wasn't just about freeing them from Egypt; it was about revealing God's character-His power, His promises, and His presence. God uses imperfect people to accomplish His perfect will, and this chapter is a reminder of how He chooses to make Himself known, not through our strengths, but through His strength. 💡
God has a plan. Do not worry about a thing. Pray and ask in gratitude . Stay on God's plan. We may fail, but his plan remains. Jump back up, and God is there. He loves us because he made us
This was a good explanation and so detailed! I use to have a strong concordance and I didn’t know how to use it. I’d just look up the scriptures 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I do want to get a Bible dictionary now that I know how to use a concordance I make look into getting one . Also, I did get an email about your Bible studies and the app. I love the fact that it’s international and all the features with the app
Asking for prayers for my eight year old nephew. He has a medical condition were he’s not able to eat food and is still on the bottle. Insurance company denied him to get help from a dietitian and a speech therapist to help him to start eating. Praying that they reverse their decision, so he can start to enjoy the fries and chips that he licks.
Replay!! I am grateful to God that I am out of the diabetic range and into the prediabetic range. The past few weeks were hard I have had multiple allergic reactions and was throwing up 3 weeks straight from stomach issues. Even had to change my diet some just so I could keep food down. But I’m back on track, and I know that God will help me through meeting my health goals.
YESSSS! God is faithful to HIS WORD, not God is faithful because I have faith or they have faith or you have faith. Some will try to tell you that you need more faith for God to work in your life. That's not Scripture and that's not how God works!! God is faithful to HIS Word despite what we do, or what we believe / have faith in. Faith is what you believe will happen, it's trusting in something you can't see, so put that way, doubt is a form of faith too--it's trusting or believing something WON'T happen. What is your faith in?
Replay crew for now. 😊 What stood out to me was the overall feeling Moses must have had. He obeyed God and talked to Pharaoh asking him to let his people (the Israelites) go, but it seemed to anger Pharaoh and make matters worse. The Israelites were told to find straw for themselves now, (when it was previously provided for them to do their work) AND they were told there will be NO allowance for a decreased workload! Plus the overseers were beaten. Things got much worse because of Moses' request to let them go or at least let them go into the wilderness for 3 days to make a sacrifice to God. Moses asked God, "Why did you cause more trouble for your people? Why did you send me? You haven't rescued your people at all." I can empathize with this feeling of despair, concern, confusion etc. Moses did not understand God's plan or why He wasn't moving. Basically, why would you tell me to do this and then by me doing so (by obeying you) it made it worse---it doesn't make sense. Many of us probably can relate. Scripture tells us not to lean on our understanding but to trust God. Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT [5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. [6] Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. God doesn't say obey and get instant results; it's more of a trust each step. I think we fall into trouble when we get impatient, when we don't like the results or God's way, or want to take matters into our own hands thinking we know better. We’ve seen this many times in the Bible and it usually doesn't work out well. We need to trust God no matter what we see, what we want, how long it takes…or even if. This isn't easy to hear or carry out, but we’ve seen over and over how obedience to God fulfills GOD'S PLAN. As hard and confusing as it can be, we have to trust God. Why? Because God's plan is always better. It's good. It's right. And because God always does what He says He’ll do-despite what humanity does. Looking forward to hearing the other takeaways from this chapter.

He did not come down from the cross just to save Himself…..He decided to die just to save you and me. He said I can when I can’t see that. He’s a waymaker…..He’s giving us a way of escape…..we can dwell and hide in Him
God is faithful in the life of Abraham b/c He took time to make him the Father of many nations, to keep His Word b/c He honors and responds to His Word.

Randi on the replay!!!! 1) God is who He says He is. 2) God is unchanging. He is steady so that there will be no mistake about who He is. 3) Nothing can sway God or make Him anything other than who He is and who He will always be. 4) God is faithful to His Word!

How did they know Moses was Hebrew? It makes sense that Pharaoh's daughter knew bc of the decree. Her being able to disobey her father and raise a male Hebrew child in her father's home is interesting. God is intentional and strategic. Romans 9:18 - God shows mercy to whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires. "God has a plan see!"
Even though Moses was raised by Pharaoh's daughter he knew who he was (an Israelite) Vs. 11. I'm wondering how long he was nursed by his Mother. If he was around her when he was old enough to understand, I'm sure she would have told him about who he was. Going to research this
