Im learning to play the spoons and this is a great song for this. Still look up your music all the time when i need "something" it has that and i am brighter.thank you. Hope you can see how you shine.
My niece got married this weekend and used this song for their 1st dance. It's as if the song was written just for them!! Made me cry, a beautiful song for a beautiful couple!!
Beautiful song, the whole album is honestly a masterpiece but this is definitely the highlight. I don't think I've found an album that has captured me quite like Sings The Moon has.
I think I must be the only person who never burped or made fart noises into it thinking it was hilarious. I used to hit glass bottles or plastic tubes to get notes. Got an SK200 later bigger and more sample time, apparently they’re quite rare
This is an unbelievably beautiful song. It struck me the first time I heard it. Something in this song makes me feel like I went through something similar... So ever since I heard it for the first time I have been trying to figure out what the (true) meaning behind the song is, like, the reason this song was written. I tried to find interviews on this song but have been unsuccessful. Maybe the video shares some of the meaning, as the ash being spread into the wind could symbolize someone loved being gone now... well, maybe it will stay a mystery, but as I am creating songs myself I am always deeply curious about the inspiration that sparked a song. If there is an interview where the background story to this song is shared, I would really appreciate someone sharing it. Thank you John Mark Nelson for this beautiful, beautiful song and for writing music that is so carefully put together in lyrics, music, arrangement.... a beautiful piece of art, and very deep too. Thank you.
BEAUTIFUL!! BUT, I'm very sad that the transcript DOESN'T MATCH! Incomplete! I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED! As a first time listener I can't understand all the words and WANT TO KNOW!! Please, please be kind and let EVERYONE follow the beautiful words!❤❤💕🙏
