I'm thinking of starting to collect Pokémon cards in 2024, this is a great video definitely earning my sub! ❤ (Also any tips on starting a collection would be greatly appreciated)
Thanks for the sub! Start looking at Pokémon center first, those are the latest cards and booster boxes. They tend to be more affordable. The older cards as soon as a year goes by start to go up in value quickly. If you want to collect start with TCG market (e.g. look for volume of sales and quality of rating). Try to stay away from eBay unless you want to pay for a premium. There are other places, but don’t know how legit the purchases are. If it’s too cheap, and they have low amount of view or not enough comments… I wouldn’t take the chance unless you have extra income to burn. Most sellers will put “no returns”… which is a good thing, because you will have a lower rate of a seller trying to sell you a returned item. Try to stay away from Walmart or Amazon and the bigger stores because they tend to accept returns… they have money to burn, we don’t.
