What I think is a possibile change they might make for petal is perhaps adding a small barrier around it or making it heal while you stand on it. I'd take a second petal like they did with the community game mode as well, just mostly want his thorns to do a little more damage. In order to kill you actually need to be pretty damn accurate with him, so think making his damage a little more reliable would make diving him not as easy as it is sometimes.
Lifeweaver might be the worst support but he is genuinely the most fun support i ever played. Also i think im pretty good as him and teammates seems to love my Lifeweaver.

Nope! I never said I was in the right for playing primarily Lifeweaver. 1. That's why I never complain about what other people play or ask for swaps 2. I'm not a Lifeweaver 1 trick lmao I'm also not a meta slave either though
they are looking to make his petal platform more alluring to allies and are looking to streamline switching between healing and damage mode. we’ll see what that entails but that’s what they told us

@@-NoNo. The devs specified pretty recently that the perception of some heroes does not = their actual power. They specifically said Mercy is perceived to be bad, but her stats say otherwise. She wins games just fine. Her winrate across all ranks except maybe GM is higher than Kiri, a hero who is perceived to be one of the stronger supports. I think the issue with her is that the only hard impact ability she has is rez, which is 30 seconds cooldown. Meanwhile other supps have more often to use hard impact abilities, like suzu and lamp etc. BUT, those heroes misuse those abilities and get themselves and teammates killed more often. Mercy is very safe/consistent. So she doesn't feel impactful, but over the long run she actually is. Everyime I see Mercy, she has the least deaths in the lobby. Consistently. She consistently has better value than some of the other supports, but it just doesn't feel like it does. Because her impact is low but steady. A slight rework to her would be cool to make it so she can solo carry more maybe. Instead of just relying on teammates. Maybe let her beam while its latched to teammates damage enemies it passes over? Possibly apply some small dot to them. This gives her ways to deal damage that utilize her movement, which is what 100% of Mercy players play her for.. Don't know if that's a balanced idea but sounds fun to me tbh.
@@Klyttorius i’m going to break it down for you. what is mercy supposed to be good at? she’s supposed to be good at surviving/ good at pocketing, that is what mercy as a character is supposed to be good at but she is not good at either. her survivability has been nerfed so much that she isn’t even one of the most survivable supports anymore and her ability to keep one teammate alive/ boost them has also been nerfed so much that she can’t even do that properly. let’s go down the list of nerfs shall we? massive healing nerf, countless guardian angel nerfs, damage boost nerf, massive valkyrie charge rate nerf, flat valkyrie sustain nerf, flat hit box nerf, rez nerf because of projectiles being bigger and less healing. Nearly every part of mercy’s kit has been massacred either directly or indirectly. mercy isn’t good at anything and isn’t as flexible as she used to be. what we have now is a character that is good at nothing and her niche is filled by other supports that do her job but better. the healing nerfs have especially put a damper on her only good quality which was damage boost. you need to heal much more now and the more you heal means the less you damage boost which is bad. it also doesn’t help that her “support ability” (rez) gets you killed more often than not so it’s better to not use it a good majority of the time. you can bring up perception vs reality all you want while citing their stats but the truth of the matter is that kiriko and lucio have been perma meta since the beginning of ow2 with very few breaks in between despite their below average win rates across ranks… kiriko and lucio are undeniably strong and you can’t argue otherwise because kiriko is picked everywhere and lucio is picked a large percentage of the time. lucio, kiriko, and mercy are just a few of the best examples of why statistics can lie. keep in mind that the statistics also said mauga was too weak, orisa was too weak, ramatra was too weak, rein was too strong, bastion was too weak, sojourn was too weak, ana was too strong, etc. etc. which the vast majority of players with a brain know to be false information that is incomplete and doesn’t show the full picture. mercy is an especially skewed character because of blue beam whichs enables meta characters to be better thus artificially inflating her winrate in a way that is not truly exemplary of her power level. I agree that mercy needs a rework but mercy does need help. there’s a reason why top 500 mercy players that have played her since ow1 have dropped to masters or low gm. there is a reason why mercy is being picked less and less, there is a reason why even other support players are talking about how mercy needs help, it’s because the character is bad. she is badly designed and has been treated terribly balance wise.
Another thing ppl forget/don’t realize is how huge the inspire radius is. On Ilios well it literally covers the entire objective if your standing in the corner of it.
Idk if i am a noob or watch, but i feel he just uses tree bc he has tree. I always hold my tree to use when there is a important fight or to countee another utt.
I cycle trees asap. Id rather have 2 serviceable trees than waiting 3 fights for the perfect one. Not worth holding considering how quick you farm it imo
