I took 10000 photos with Lr cam and edit. Never had underexposed photos and problems with „graying issue highlights” when they are bring down until I bought 15 Pro Max with ProRAW. Does Halide also have that issue? I started to give up for photography. ProRAW sucks. I tried taking -0,03 but it doesn’t even help, tried bring up whites a little and exposure - picture became overexposed. I’m so sad. I don’t want to use Lr cam because it doesn’t support optical zoom. Even ProRAW profile doesn’t help.
I watched about one minute or so of this tutorial and couldn’t go on. Your gross mispronunciation of "Halide" threw me out of the video as soon as I heard it. As others have already pointed out, it's HAL-ahyd (as in "allied"), not "huh-LEED." I'm a writer and instructional designer, and pronunciation matters to me, especially when the word is so simple.
Chris - good question. You definitely can use third-party camera apps like Lightroom CC. Additionally, within the native camera app you can use the RAW + JPEG feature: On your Pixel, open the camera. If you haven’t changed the default method, you can double-tap your power button. Tap the camera settings drop-down button at the top. Hit More settings. Tap Advanced. Toggle on RAW + JPEG control Find the RAW file folder as this is where the photos will be stored.
Interesting question. I don't notice a difference in light between no lens and a T-Series lens so you should be good. It may be worth checking out the T-Series Fisheye for party videos - just seems like it may be the vibe. I don't have the T-Series Fisheye, but it's similar to the M-Series one. Lynn - you're best off shooting with the 48Mp camera in ProRAW file format for the purposes of image quality. That being said, Live Photo in the native camera app may be a lower quality, but uses AI to snatch photos from videos which allows for much more control and choice in your photography. What is causing the strange "greenscreen effect" with the edges of your hair? It is very obvious when you watch these regions. I might expect it to be some sort of ProRAW masks trying to separate foreground from background. Whatever it is, it is a processing failure (on whatever tool/process is causing this). If something makes you look greenscreened when you are not, then it seems like a feature to avoid for any potential quality work.
Erik - I agree whole heartedly. I believe what's going on is what you described, but I think how it's happening is via the Portrait Mode technology. I've never been a fan of the software induced bokeh as - like you point out - there's a clear greenscreen look that results.
Good question - if I remember correctly it was the iPhone 13 Pro Max or the iPhone 13 Mini. It depends on whether I used my extra phone or my wife's phone and I don't remember.
oh yes, I share your emotions. I love the Perseids starfall and when the weather allows I go out to watch and take pictures, of course, and I have quite a lot of these second-long videos where I caught large tracks from meteors, but I’m angry that Google still hasn’t given more control or made a mode for continuous timelapse consisting of astrophotos. Regular time lapse in sped up video format definitely sucks! As they write on models 7 and higher there is a night sight timelapse, it’s interesting how it is implemented.
@@photoswithphones I found a solution for myself with an automatic tapper, I bound a cycle equal to the maximum exposure time and I can leave it without worrying too much by connecting a power bank. I understand that not everyone needs such broad capabilities, but it’s not that difficult to implement continuous mode in the camera itself... Google as a whole has the largest warehouse of applications and services that they have buried. They do the same thing with some software tricks. I would rename google to "unrealized potential" XD

Like 1x to .5x fov change? The wide in this video works, but if you want a unique look, it may be worth checking out the fisheye. I haven’t tested sandmarc’s newest fisheye, but I love moments!
Good question. Honestly, I’m not sure because I haven’t used the phone. You will need to use the Moment Lens Adapter to attach the lens to the phone though. I made a video if you want to check it out.
Unfortunately those adapters don't come with the T-Series version of the lens filter mount so the 18MM sticks out past the ring preventing you from attaching any filters. You have to add on an extension ring which of course doesn't come with it. Really sucks because I was excited to start using it as soon as I got it. Now I have to wait for the extension ring.

I would say the 14mm if you’re looking for a cool vibe, 18mm if you want to capture everything as you see it, and/or the 58mm if you want close ups. Sorry for the delay but hope it helps!!
I have all the M series lenses, but sadly just looking nice in the drawer. T lenses are they sure, that phone lenses won’t grow in size, okay I got it, we just make a new once.

Good video. I got Beastcam for one reason only. The ability to control gain on an external mic. After using it, I was pleased with that aspect. However, image stabilisation is rubbish. I don't even look at those controls. Didn't even know my iPhone was doing it until I used Beastcam. The video of Walk and Talk is useless. I'm not shooting overly cinematic shots and don't require all that other camera control. I've got a lapel mic with a deadcat, a must for shooting in even the slightest breeze. However the mic is way too hot and audio is distorted. There is no way to control this in the native camera app. I have another shotgun mic with a deadcat but it's a bit intrusive when you're walking around in public. You can be pretty invisible shooting video on your phone until you have a big furry microphone on top of it. All of a sudden people think you're with the BBC or something and start acting unnatural. The audio levels on that mic are a little low but workable. Again no way to adjust the gain in the native app. I've tried attaching a bit of deadcat to the phone itself and using the phone's mic. That works fine until you use the selfie lens. The problem with this is when you use the selfie lens you use the selfie mic right next to the camera and there's no way you can stick a bit of deadcat over that without it being in frame and no way to choose the mic you want to use in the native app. I would just use the native camera app if I didn't have this problem. I've never been able to find a solution that suits this problem and have never heard or seen someone address it. The only way Beastcam is of any use to me is on a tripod.
I hate the lag, but the results are pretty good. I shot this video on the iPhone 11 Pro, but when shooting my documentary this summer on my 14 Pro Max, I found that when I didn't look at the screen while shooting and just did the motion I was going for that the results were quite good. Ii instantly recognized Williamsburg. I live out in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. I upgraded an old Samsung I had to the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. I also still use my iPhone 13 mini for my personal phone and it is always in my pocket. I did buy the Moment cases for both. I have the same 4 lenses in both T series and M series. I use the M series on the mini. Both lenses give great results on both iPhones and you never know which one took what shot. The real issue I have is the filter mounts for the T mount. The M series has a nice ones but so far the T series is lagging behind. Sometimes I just like to have the VND for dealing with bright sunlight, Keep up your videos exploring these lenses. I love them. Oh one other annoying issue with the cases. You have to use short USB C cables to connect to my MagSafe SSD because of the thickness of the case.
Chris - thanks for the kind words and for sharing. I love Shenandoah - my mom grew up right on the river near Berryville so I've spent a lot of time there. Honestly one of the next few videos about the T-Series Wide Lens will be from up there because the landscapes are one of a kind. I've noticed that the Moment cases do make attaching chords a bummer - I had serious issues with microphones while shooting my documentary in Europe this summer. I do expect all of this gear to continue to improve rapidly though just because mobile filmmaking is on the rise!!
Haleed or Halide. We need not pronounce everything in English. Okay, I bought this app and it was freezing when I moved to 2X. No solution yet. Finally, my iPhone is a camera that is always available. If you know photography, u get a photo, otherwise a snapshot. My opinion is that if you want to start in photography, buy a real camera for 300 USD and learn.

this video confirms that sandmarc's new 43mm outer thread wide angle lens do fit the the 14 pro max, if you check the website and look at the wide angle lens, the 14 pro max will show a 40.6mm outer, but the 15 pro max shows a 43mm outer, issue is all lens filters they currently sell are meant for a 43mm thread
