I love D&B. Great bags for reasonable prices. The packaging is not glamorous, but the bags are wonderful. In all my years of buying Dooney, I never got the "wheel of fortune". Absolutely hilarious! If you find time, please deconstruct the Henry's line from Dooney and Bourke. I would love to hear your opinion.
Am I the only one who is bothered by him literally destroying everything? Lol I think it would be even more entertaining if he tested it to see its quality and then reassembling it back in better manufacturing.
Thanks for doing this. One thing to note -their bags are also extremely light. I don't know what tech or design process they use, but somehow their leather bags are super light, and so ideal for day to day use, and somehow still hold up great long term. So it's a great choice for luxury item you can actually use all the time -looks great, no need to baby it, and it's not going to kill your shoulder to carry it (unlike most other luxury brands). Mine get used constantly.
To be honest, I can care less about their shady marketing. All I care is you said it is great quality and the price is decent. Looking up their bags now 👀
These bags are so annoying... At a $50 to $100 price point, I would think they are cute... But I am not buying a plastic bag at the current price point..
They tried to buy you over with "rip our bag" strategy. All their efforts to make them seem transpatents and organic are screaming orchestration and planned high $$$ PR efforts to trick people into getting obessed with a "small business".
Wonderful video! I agree with you because, based on what I have observed, Singaporean companies typically outsource the manufacturing process for the reasons you stated. For example, the cat food I buy is a brand from Singapore and is only headquartered in Singapore, and they disclose that their products are indeed manufactured in other countries, such as Thailand.
