Jesus had 12 disciples and they were all men and they were given the charge to go out and preach the gospel in all the world, so why are we going off course
There must be a clear understanding as to what was going on when it stated the woman must learn silence.. thanks for all of your comments. But God is neither a male or female. And when it comes to ministry it’s spiritual no flesh. Otherwise it’s natural, then we walk in the flesh after our natural creation.

Women should not lead a church. They can evangelize, teach women, children and be of good support to their husband if he runs a church. But not be a Pastor to a mixed congregation.

Am saddened that we're challenging the spirit led Apostle Paul's teachings on ministry and this shows how soft the church today is. NO wonder to this day no generation in church history has had Christians accommodating false doctrines than this. It's so sad as we're going into a harder future. @@Joseph12323-o The Apostle Paul was speaking to a particular group of People. The issue is that we read without the spirit of God. Or listen to our pastors who also listened to their Pastor because they lacked the ability to read. Paul was very clear That he was speaking to a particular group. Paul has become your god. Paul Pointed people to Jesus and NOT to himself. Take the Lord out of The small box that your simply mind Can understand. Allow him To be God. We are living the the last days. The sons and daughters of the Lord will prophesy with the purpose of leading people to Jesus. The bible declares.... go you therefore and preach the good news - the great commission. It's not specific for dang MEN only...too much people's theory and interpreted the scriptures wrongly.
My opinion, God its difficult honestly my question rather is why do you put this desire in them and such gifts if it isnt given to edify the church? for some you take them as far as only you know.......All of you against women teaching,or preaching know that they dont call themselves God does and only Him can rectify this in understanding what paul meant

God chose Deborah to be a judge over the Israelites. He knew her heart. That was not normative during that time. There is a huge difference between influential women in the Bible and leading a church.

Which one is difficult: being a prophetess in the Old Testament or being a prophetess in the New Testament? Deborah was a prophetess in the Old Testament which is equivalent to a preacher and a leader over God’s people. If a woman is led by the Spirit to preach the Word of God then God knows her heart!
@@Freedom20255 No, I did not forget she was a prophetess. Prophets revealed what God said. This is not the same. The Bible said women can not lead a church, but we can evangelize. Either you believe the Bible as written, or you don't. I encourage you to read in Revelation where it talks about adding or taking away from God's word and what will happen to you if you do.

I attend 2 in-depth Bible studies every week to further learn of God's word. There is not one Scripture that substantiate your claim of prophets being over a pastor. Where is it written in the Bible there were ranks? Is that something you heard a person say, if so, that is false In the Bible days, there were prophets who spoke God's word to the people. Today, we have a whole Bible we are told to study. In the Bible, it plainly says women can't be pastors of a church. You may go against this verse but the Bible is quite clear on what happens to those who cause confusion or behave contrary to His written word. This does not mean women don't have a place in ministry, we just are not supposed to lead a church. Be blessed.
I agree with Jesus, who gave the great commission to ALL. Most in this chat uphold Paul’s response to a particular group over the command of Jesus. In the end, salvation should be our focus. Getting as many people into the kingdom of God. Like the Pharisees we are still caught up in legalism and miss the heart of God, “saving and Shepherding souls”. Jesus is still the head of the church. If he needs to use a donkey to lead souls to Himself, He will. Ask yourself, who have I led to the kingdom of God? Now go forth and win more souls.
That's a popular misconception, but let's be correct. Sin did not enter because of Eve. In the Book of Romans, the Apostle Paul explains the concept of sin entering the world through Adam. According to Paul, sin entered the world through Adam's disobedience in the Garden of Eden. See Romans 5:12 (NIV) "Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned-"

Everything he said is a twist of scripture even if you look at the requirements that were set aside for someone wanting to obtain the office of a bishop, elder, overseer, or deacon; the Bible mandates that the first requirement is that this person must be the husband of one wife. In no type of way can a woman be the husband of a wife neither can a man have multiple wives and fulfill this role. Even if you look at at Titus 1:5 Paul is instructing Titus that an "elder" must be faithful to his wife. The gender roles of elders in the church is also designed to be for men. The gender roles for bishops, deacons, elders, overseer (pastors) is designed to be for men as well if you read 1 Timothy 3:1-12. There are certain phrases throughout 1 Timothy 3:1-12 that mandate that those of the pastoral office must be men i.e. (husband of one wife, a man who life is above reproach, he must be able to teach, faithful to his wife, etc). Even if you look at it from a spiritual context like Dr Munroe did in the video, it was the woman who was deceived and not man. 1 Timothy 2:14-15 states that Adam wasn't deceived but the woman was deceived and sin was the result. Because the woman was deceived she is saved through childbearing, assuming she continues to live in faith, love, holiness, and modesty. Another place to see if from a spiritual context would be in 1 Corinthians 14:34 which also says that women should be silent! The same context as 1 Timothy 2:12.
Jesus approved of a woman to be a Judge over Israel in the Old Covenant, with the authority to judge homicide cases. To believe that Jesus would strongly disapprove of a woman being an elder in the New Covenant, makes no sense whatsoever. This is all Paul. Paul gave himself the title of 'father', since he couldn't meet the qualifications of elder that he himself put forward. For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers... -excerpt 1 Corinthians 4 KJV -words of Paul If one supports the qualifications of elder, as put forward by Paul, one MUST also accept that the title/position of 'father' is valid and proper in Christianity. Since this is also one of Paul's teachings. But the title of 'father' was expressly forbidden by Jesus. Deborah was only in that position because no man was called by God to take that role. The Bible even states that “she was a prophet who was “judging” Israel at that time”. But it didn’t say that she was anointed by God to be a judge for Israel. Every judge or prophet that God called were anointed by God’s prophet to do so. Deborah was not anointed by God’s prophets. She just went and took that role upon herself.

She should search God’s Word, the scriptures, and pray to God. Also the scriptures say that older women of faith should teach/mentor the younger. Titus Ch. 2
There is not 1 Scripture in the Bible where it says a woman should not preach or spread the Gospel. It says tell the women to he quiet in the church because those women were causing problems. Paul cannot contradict himself...Paul in Romans 16 sends Phoebe, which he calls a deacon, to the Christians in Rome. He uses the same term diakonon for men. Bottom line. The question should be, why would it be wrong for a woman to preach the Gospel of Christ, to help win soils, to minister, to teach of His goodness. When we ALL get to heaven there is neither male or female.

The Bible verse stated speaks about ''teaching'' not ''preaching''. Preaching you deliver the message but teaching is reaching the depths of understanding. But what if it is a community of unbelievers? and the only believer is a female who wants to win souls unto Christ? And is persecutory area so she can't get help from any other male believer because it has to be secret?
