I was in the snagproof. Had 3rd big fish. Dropped it on the ground at weigh in 🤦♂️ 3 days of nothing but frogs. Ribbit ribbit. Whats a spinnerbait? Ribbit. I wanted to punch so bad. Fun tournament though
Congrats on 3rd big! That is how we felt during UFC 10. It's fun to mix it up and only throw one thing. Even if you spend that whole day wishing you didn't have to. Haha.
Man at leasts you guys get to participated in. My buddy and I had to sit out this year due to my boat being overheated during our practice and it was too little time to get it fix. Definitely won't miss it next year.
Dang it! Being in "Boat jail" last minute isn't fun! Even if we had a tough weekend it was still a fun weekend. We will probably see you out there next year.
Do not disagree with you whatsoever. Unfortunately RU-vid search histories show the city name is searched significantly more than the proper lake name. I have an internal battle with this every posting.
@@straithookedfishing I would say ditch the battle and go with the actual name, not with the lowest common denominator of clicks and views---but what can I say, I'm just a viewer of one and not a channel owner. Most people who say Clearlake aren't, it could be said, particularly deep thinkers, though, again, I'm just a a Viewer of One. But I know where to put my money and it's never with Clearlake. Yours for the revolution...
Good news. I just rechecked the searches and it isn't as bad of a gap as before. I just went and changed the titles for the last couple years... thumbnails are not so easy to change though. Funny that the locals spell it incorrectly most often.
@@straithookedfishing Awesome! ..and oh yes, the locals are just as guilty or more so. I swear, they who live here don't even seem to know their own geography, or geographical nomenclature. And it's not just the fishin' folk types, it seems to be just about everyone around here (I live at Clear Lake…not Clearlake, natch). It's weird...
That area you caught that crappie, if you poked a crappie bait thru the mat, you would have caught a bunch of big crappie. Great video. Thanks for sharing
Yes multiple times. Only one of video though. My Co-angler caught one on a jerk bait in one of my older videos from March 2022 titled "Camanche - 20.06 pound day with a 7.11 Kicker"
Sorry to hear that man! That place is just rough on boats. Ive lost a lower unit, and a trolling motor out there. Had a battery die in the middle of a nasty storm, dropped a rod, etc. I know the feeling so im gonna let it slide that u called it delta again.

Summer boating tips.... Back your boat down the middle of the ramp immediately when you arrive at the lake, THEN start loading up ice chests, life jackets, float tubes etc. Spend a good 10 minutes locating all 6 ropes that you'll use to launch. Hang no less than 12 bumper buoys from your cleats because boats actually explode if they touch anything. If there are 2 docks, launch between them so that you can have rope operators on both sides guiding the boat in the water as your wife learns to back a trailer for the first time. Once on the water, make sure to never get all the way on pad. Ignore the little trim switch on the hand throttle and just gas that baby up. If u can see the water in front of you, your not plowing hard enough. Lastly, while towing children on float toys it is not your responsibility to keep them safe or pay attention at all. Feel free to swerve unpredictably in and out of no wake zones without looking behind you. You probably have too many kids anyway so just have fun, and the ones who survive will have a story for the rest of their life.

Everyone likes high tide more water to fish but you you can learn alot about a area on low tide and less water for fish to hide. You guys always have good info and tips on your videos 👍🎣
@@straithookedfishing LA and surrounding lakes are $:;(@ holes. You are much better off up there. We calico fish primarily but have small Stratos for lakes. We much get up there this summer and even fish the first frog tourney. Did one a number of years ago in our CC ocean boat and we figured them out on the second day. Had a ball. Leaving for Florida soon to retire. Will miss the fishing here a lot!!! Good luck and keep the videos coming. They are extremely informational and funny.

Lol. There is only one water inlet in that lake. Its no secret. We say way more then the average channel we dont really hold anything back. If you really want even juicier info watch the LIVE videos. We don't hold back anything there.
@@tonylopez1083 I never said I was good at fishing. I just share my experiences. You must have fished the UFC 8. That's the only big tournament I have done. Top 10 in that is awesome! Congrats.
I second that. Trojan makes a great punching hook. Good keeper too!! Looking forward to boat etiquette video. Everyone has a different perspective. Just fished MLF on delta as a co and my pro got moved in on by another pro. Let’s just say some words were exchanged. 😂🤣😂
