I post mostly vids from shows I go to. I like prog rock but I’ll go see an ABBA tribute, or video a local band, or maybe belly dancers. In fact, there’s a small few of me dancing, here. And I don’t have a schedule or anything, so "regular content" will not be a Thing. I've decided to do a brief selfie video every now and then, letting you know what I'll be seeing in the following month or two so I'm not posting that here any more.
@@sisterdecadence As a Bible believer and a s Madonna's fan I love both the Biblical massage and the way justify my love's song was used to preach the coming of Jesús Christ. To me was a memorable moment 🥰 Anyway thanks for sharing 👍
I really, really, really love this cover - One of the greatest and most epic songs ever made - sadly still relevant ( Kind of a hymn for Ukraine and humanity )
Wow, really? So cool! I of course knew it was the 2nd show (oh to sell out massive arenas two nights in a row!) but I did not know it was Ms. Badu. Thank you!
With all the great stuff you guys do and are capable of, why waste your time on that... sorry... crap? Mahavishnu orch was the worst disappointment of the fusion era.
@@sisterdecadence I was deep into them and the other fusion pioneers. John McLaughlin is an amazingly fast guitar player. But I literally cannot stand listening to that stuff. Haven't for years. Adam is a *far* better musician and composer than McLaughlin *ever* was!
You're entitled to your own opinion of course. I personally love Mahavishnu, I think they were pivotal in laying the groundwork for jazz fusion as a whole. It's hard to think of many musicians in this genre who wouldn't accredit Mahavishnu as a huge source of inspiration for their own work.
So good! I was kinda drunk and stoned during this show, and so close to the front I had anxiety so it's really awesome to see this again without my mind all clouded. Great job, my name is Israel and this was absolutely my favorite moment during the whole set
You're welcome. I wish I could afford the *newest and best* phones for better and better recordings, but this iphone 12 is not bad! I'm happy with what it accomplishes.
I've seen Simonetti several time: first with Daemonia, then at the reunion, then solo. I think he has trouble understanding that Goblin was all about the rhythm section.
Came to your channel after searching Wild Sky Troupe videos. I have finally settled down in life and have time to pick back up my love for dance - especially the tribal/belly dance style. But...now I live in the middle of NOWHERE lol Was wondering if a troupe like Wild Sky allows for remote ladies? Like practice via Zoom or whatnot and come together once a month or every so often to practice/perform together? Not sure if that's a "thing", but I'd rather ask than not. :D
Hi! I don't know if they do that sort of thing or not. They aren't my troupe but we're often performing at the same shows. This is their web site: wildskytribal.wixsite.com/wildskytribal and they have a Chat function there so you might be able to find out from them? Good luck and welcome back to the dance!
@@sisterdecadence I've been listening to them since 2002 when Comalies came out and I've loved them every since but this was not only my first rock/metal concert, but it was with Lacuna Coil and I got to stand right by the rail in front of stage. And for them being in their 50's they are STILL AMAZING <3
One of my favorite current bands! Got to see them live in Poughkeepsie of all places in this great old restored Vaudeville theater and they were spectacular.
And I realize being on camera for RU-vid can be a little awkward at first: the key is to keep doing it until you cease to give a shit, then you learn to relax and just have fun. 😁
