Welcome to Piano Focus! Subscribe below for relaxing piano music + tutorials ☺️
Hi, I'm Lauren! 🎶 A New Zealand born pianist, singer and songwriter based in Sydney, Australia.
On this channel, piano is for everyone. We play relaxing piano routines, pieces and songs step by step together, learning to read sheet music as we go. You can choose the levels that are best for you and play them as many times as you like. Feel free to share with your family and friends!
If you like listening to calm piano music, feel free to check out my playlist Peaceful Piano Music.
@@pianofocuscommunity sight reading was always the part I found hardest. I can't play piano anymore like I used to (effects of trauma). So I am going to have a go at practising singing instead. Rather rusty & my range has lowered significantly so it's a process of discovery.
@@pianofocuscommunity music is therapeutic. Ready to have another go. Trying to playing piano again didn't work out very well, so will try something else.
Welcome to our new sight reading series, which will run for the next 4 weeks! 🎶 There is so much we can observe in even a short piece of music - but I hope this video gives you a few ideas for a start. Enjoy your week everyone ☺
Welcome to our Review of Weeks 7 to 11 😊 We're following the same pattern as our Review of Weeks 1 to 5 - so if you'd like, you can connect the two routines together! Thank you so much for joining me on the journey and see you again soon! 🎶

hi Lauren, what a wonderful approach and what nice playing presented in a charming manner. Although i am somehow intermediate i like your tutorials very much (from easy to more complicated) Thanks so much for your systematic approach and your “curriculum”
Thanks Lauren for this and, also, for your very clear explanations. I have been collecting all of these and I am now covering two a day with my daily practice. I am certainly improving and I have noticed that my recognition of chords from the sheet music has also improved.
